The food is great. HOWEVER… it’s a scam to drivers. The sign at the fuel pump says pay to park or free with fuel or purchase. We are not permitted to buy fuel so I purchased food to the sum of 17.51 including tip. Apparently that’s not good enough. The “ parking lot attendant “ informed me that I still needed to pay for parking.
First of all the “ parking lot attendant “ loves to flex his authority by beating on trucks if you don’t have your little parking pass displayed. Secondly to charge drivers to park is getting out of hand. We do not get reimbursed for this.
Let’s talk about the contract that paying to park Creates. In the state of Tennessee if you charge to park you are creating a contract in kind meaning the party that charges another party to park is responsible for your safety and security as well as your vehicle.
The park at your own risk is weak and can be easily challenged in the event of an incident.
With all that being said I’ve been staying here as well as dining in the restaurant and when I was an owner operator I bought fuel here for close to 23 years. Tonight was my last night.
This is what’s happening to the mom and pops businesses when they sell out to the Punjabi’s.
Between dinner and parking it was $32.51 I think it’s a bit much.

The food is good but the customer service is horrible. Went there the other day and waited 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged we were there so we left. The other Time we was there the waitress was complaining because she was the only one there working the tables

Excellent place to eat, unfortunately this is another sell out to foreigners. Of all places in Lebanon, this is the last place I would have guessed would sell out. Sure, some of the same people still work there, but it’s a matter of time before it starts to drastically go downhill.

The fried chicken was definitely worth the wait! Was a little bummed out that both types of cobbler were sold out. Guess I need to get there earlier next time! 😉

I haven’t been here in a long time . And I definitely won’t be back. I sat at the little counter and the waitress waited on others that came in after me on there to go orders, not mine. Service at this place is no where near what it used to be. Definitely not being treated like I’m not good enough

What a a nice little gem of a restaurant is Uncle Pete's You walk in and greeted by the super friendly staff into a sea of nostalgia.
I ordered the baby back ribs and they were finger licking awesome.
The prices are super amazing for the food you get.

From out of town, came to visit family and they raved about Uncle Pete's. Had 1 of the best pizzas ever and the service was magnificent 🥰

Sometimes you just have to get back to your roots. I’m a southern girl born and bred and that’ll never leave my heart. This truckstop is special to both my husband and I. The atmosphere, everyone here, plus the food. It’s a wonderful place to take a break from the road. Homemade chicken and stuffing with gravy, green bean casserole, greens, and cornbread was our dinner tonight and every bite was delicious.

Been by here plenty of times otr and finally stopped, which I'm glad we did because it won't be our last, it might not be much to look at but whenever you walk in you automatically feel welcome, from the store to the restaurant the service is great and the food was absolutely amazing, yes they charge 15$ for parking but hey it's cheaper than most other places and you not only feel appreciated and welcome you also get a home cooked meal and the prices are good, check them out,, thanks guys
