Best breakfast bar around
Great way to celebrate being home.
Shoney's has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was a little kid, they have amazing food for sure but personally I love their breakfast more mainly because of the eggs and liquid cheese combo
The wife and I went Saturday morning 5-24-25. We got there just as they were opening. Got sat right away, decided to get the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious. Fully stocked and fresh. Never had a bad experience there,
Update: been back many times after. Have had great experience with the service even on busy Sundays after church.
Food was excellent. Service was HORRIBLE. I think we got the only waitress that didn't want to work. Me, my husband and son went and she forgot my husband's water and my son's chocolate milk. Didn't give us enough straws. My husband and son went to the buffet, I still had menus in hand and had to flag her down to even order anything. She got some of the order wrong. Never checked on us once. If we needed anything we had to ask another waitress. She never even brought us our check, we had to go up and pay without one.
Waited 10 mins with only one other table occupied and 4 waitresses sitting at counter prepping silverware. So we walked out.
Kristin is a kind and caring waitress
Just had to try the Shoney's in Lewisburg out. My family & I will never be back. Walk in & we were greeted by the hostess. She looked & acted like she could care less about being there. We were seated & were looking at the menu. My husband & I wanted to order something off of the menu, but were told that we could not order anything until 4. The time was 3:45. We proceeded to get a salad. The items to make a salad looked rough.Just old looking. Not fresh. The soups were almost empty & the potato soup was dark brown looking. The food off of the hot bar looked & tasted like it had been laying around for a few days. Some of the items had a fish smell, including our drinks. Well, we were finally able to order from the menu. My husband had a club and I had a slim Jim. The onion rings that we had with our sandwiches were burnt looking. Looked as if the grease/oil had not been changed in a while. The server that we had was very nice & understanding. Not too many people in there eating at the time. Maybe three or four tables. I am not the kind of person to leave a bad review, but I just call it out as I see it.

Food is good. Staff is nice but could smile more often. It's busy but you get seated fairly quickly.

The buffet has been pretty bad every time I've gone there, everything old and stale. The service is always good so that's nice. But good service with terrible food still makes for not much of a reason to return.
Parking: Plenty of spots, parking lots always empty
