This place was ok. It does have that down home feeling and the staff was nice. The food we got was ok. I got one of their baked potatoes, it was a little dry and the steak could have been chopped up a little more but the size of the potato was worth the money. My friend got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was a bit lacking to be called a philly cheese steak. Overall I would try another potato.

My husband & I enjoyed the food and the service was great.
I was driving through town and stopped for lunch. From the outside, I didn't know what to expect. Inside everyone was very friendly. The server had the sweetest southern charm. Absolutely the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Definitely stopping

We so looked forward to the reopening. We had the chicken fried steak, and it was remarkable. Last night, we ordered for takeout, and it was terrible. I hate to complain online, but we couldn't get through by phone. My husband was missing his salad, and why they put in these fried tomatoes is beyond me. The fries were old and cold. The pork belly burnt ends were so hard they were inedible. This was the only bad experience we have had with these owners. Everyone has bad days, so this will not stop us from going there again.

Everything comes in aluminum trays, not dishes. Food choices are not appealing. Meal was obviously designed to add flavors to and the base was underwhelming. Brisket is not the "method" of cooking...it's literally the cut of the beef. Pork butt cooked "like" a brisket is NOT a brisket. Flavor is flat, presented in jailhouse style, and that was supposed to be the "NEW", best place to dine. The new floor was nice, too bad it was STICKY. The servers were running around (busy) and doing well with customer service. A restaurant that is handing out cans of beverages, seems a bit off putting, especially when the menu states 2.5 dollars for them. Between us all, we didn't manage to walk away with a single thing that would cause us to return.
Vegetarian options: I didn't see any, and it seemed geared towards meat consumption.
Dietary restrictions: Don't bother...it comes in "preseasoned". Items appear on the food that aren't stated in the menu. They're not consistent in what they do, not supposed to have lettuce, has it. Is supposed to have mustard, none. Not supposed to have mayo, has it. ?♀️
