Terri, the owner, welcomed us at the door and although she was closing.. still happily let us come in to eat. ♥️ This was our first time eating at The Corner Cafe and it did not disappoint! Although the Jive Turkey and Cheesecake served was fabulous, it was the service that blew us away! Terri is one of a kind! We highly recommend her establishment and appreciate her warm friendliness! Thanks Terri!!

Owner was the only one working, very kind and sweet lady. Cute place, understaffed, food was OK. One of our dishes had a hair in it and all we got from the cook/owner was “that’s not my hair“. Not a response that is professional or helpful. At least offer half price meal, Comp a meal. She was constantly touching her hair and her face with bare hands, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she was also cooking my food in the kitchen with those same hands. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

My wife and I enjoyed this place very home like atmosphere. The food was good I had a pacific inlet very good they use raw smoked salmon it was different but good. Would come again.

So, the wife and I decided we wanted something different and a little healthier than most places here in Lexington. Can’t say we didn’t enjoy ourselves down here at the corner cafe. We ordered a spicy Italian panini and a jive turkey panini, both sandwiches were 12 each and they came with chips. We got dessert after a few seconds of thinking and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We got the turtle cheesecake, the syrup on it wasn’t too sweet nor bitter, the cake itself wasn’t too cheesy nor was it too sweet. I definitely would recommend dining in here, the tables were clean, food was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful and calm. The two lady’s who brought our drinks and food were very lovely. Overall from 1-5 I’m definitely giving it a 5 star.
