I stop for the brisket every time I’m in Lexington. Today I saw they had smoked turkey so they gave me a sample…have mercy!!! It was excellent, extremely delicious and tender!!! Now I know to get both and go by there more often.
We stopped in yesterday and was greeted with kindness and smiles! The gentleman informed us he’d just bought the establishment from the prior owners so I was originally hesitant.. I was then pleasantly impressed with the quality and taste of the pulled pork. My family loved it.
Pretty decent brisket served on a warm bun with cool potato salad in a very "roadside" atmosphere. Fun signage and ads for competitive eating decorate the walls of this mall establishment. The smoker outside was at a full roil when I pulled up and smelled delicious. To be completely honest it would have been a little better experience without seeing the guys in the kitchen eating as they assembled my sandwich and the numerous flies that were swarming as I ate.
