This is the reason we take 2-lane blacktops instead of the interstates. The specials were generous, inexpensive and delicious. The staff was great too!

We walked in the place and there were 2 customers in the place another walked in after us. We placed our order. I ordered the hamburger steak with broccoli cheese and he ordered the catfish. The gentleman that came in after us and ordered after us got his food long before we did. I got my hamburger steak and it was so salty you couldn’t eat it. They put a baked potato on my plate that I didn’t order. I told them the hamburger steak was so salty I couldn’t eat it. They brought me another one out. They were out of A1 sauce and the hamburger steak looked like a Salisbury without the gravy. He couldn’t eat his catfish it wasn’t good.they have a long way to go for it to be good.

Had a meal from the lunch special. Meatloaf, mashed taters, green peas (they call them sweet peas) and the wife had the salad bar. The meatloaf was among the best I've ever had as well as the taters, and peas were peas I guess. The salad bar was just OK but for $5.50 you can't complain much. Service was great and the sweat tea is awesome. Breakfast menu looked good too!

Review Edit: It's under new management and the jury is still out. Service was pretty awful during their first week of reopening. They've hired the former manager and things seem to be operating MUCH smoother. Their burgers are great!

This is such a little gem! They are open 7 days a week and they don't post their hours on the door. Limited menu but the food is excellent! It's the kind of meat and three that only the locals know about. With so few dining choices in DeKalb County, this is one that you've got to try!

We waited an hour for our food and never even got it. We were about to leave without eating, when our server brought our plates out without the biscuits, and said they had miscalculated on biscuits, so they'd replaced it with toast. If someone had come out before and let us know, it would have been fine, but we waited an hour for hockey puck tenderloins, overcooked "trashbrowns" and cold eggs. I absolutely don't recommend this place.
