Commodore Hotel is the best!
Five deep in the game
The staff is friendly and the service was good. The food was good too.
Historic Hotel and music cafe meets southern small town charm. The owner Kathy and staff are beyond pleasant. Great ambiance, food and drink plus live music. Feels like your going back in time!
Quaint town and quaint cafe. It's been a while since eating here, but I remember it was nice. Good to see this town thriving.
Close to everything.. sweetest people and the town and shop owners are so sweet.
Historical spot. Great location and service. Clean room. Will return!
This is an older hotel with lots of character and charm. The staff went above and beyond to take care of our group. If you are looking for personal interactions from people who care - this is the place.
Rooms: Quaint wood floored, basic rooms. Vaulted ceilings with older wooden window sashes.

Staying at the Commodore Hotel was an experience I’d been looking forward to since reading about its history and mysterious encounters. This quirky, historic hotel has charm, with its timeless ambiance adding to the experience. My stay was delightful, and the hotel lived up to my expectations.
A special shoutout to Darwin, the manager, who made my stay exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience.
My dog was with me, and he loved the hotel just as much, enjoying the warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a unique stay that combines a hint of mystery and genuine hospitality, the Commodore Hotel is a fantastic choice.

Everything looked good in the photos and the reviews were very good. Unfortunately we received a room from the last century. The absolute bright spot was Darren, who gave us a very friendly welcome and informed us about Linden. Cleanliness and breakfast can be improved.

Love the historical feel of the place. Staff is very nice. Slept well. For those that said there wasn’t hot water for the shower - it was working very well when I was here. ?

Staying at the Commodore Hotel is like taking a step back in time. I would call it funky (in a good way) and affordable. The restaurant is good. It’s not like Nashville’s The Hermitage Hotel, but it’s not in that price range either. Linden is an interesting little burg, but we found that on a Saturday, they pretty much roll up the sidewalks between 2-3 p.m. so get to town early!
Nearby activities: Mousetail Landing State Park is worth a visit. Good hiking and river access.

I had the most delightful stay. It was like going back in time. The rooms are quaint, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The restaurant, bar, and live music were very enjoyable too. For the price, it was a 10/10 stay for me.
