We were spending a night on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, and did some restaurant 'scouting' before we arrived. Checked with the ladies at The Chanticleer B&B (where we were staying) and they confirmed - plus gave us a discount card! - that Massey's was THE place to go. We ordered their pepperoni pizza and, OH-MY-WORD, it exceeded our expectations. Absolutely delicious!! The size was just right for the two of us, the flavor was perfect, and we walked out wishing there was a location near our home. There is a great patio with outside eating and inside is open, clean, and modern. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! *TIP: We drove over after dark - be careful as the road bends and turns and deer/other animals may run out in front of you. Speaking from experience!

The fletch pizza was fantastic. My wife’s ham sandwich was amazing. And our server, Bailey, was excellent.

We was in town for 2 days and was doing some hiking on guild trail and saw this place on Google. Very nice inside and the service was great. Food was freshly made and homemade pita bread was the best I've have. Prices are good here. Very spacious and good parking.

You better hold on to your hat, you and your socks, cuz the experience at this restaurant is bound to blow them off!!!
I found this hidden gem in Lookout Mountain,TN and enjoyed every single bite of food I had.
I had the privilege of being served by Hope who made us feel at home with her charm and great service.
Tried their special of the day (a gyro sandwich, butternut squash soup, and eggplant dip) followed by a Tuscan pizza. Along with a fresh squeezed lemonade.
Everything, and I mean everything was delicious.
Please treat yourself, you won't regret going the extra mile.

We love Masseys! Food is always excellent and surroundings are beautiful! Worth the drive up the mountain! We are frequent visitors!
Very cute spot in a great location! The pizza was fantastic, but it took a bit to come out. Would definitely go back!
We are at Massey's Kitchen twice during our stay on Lookout Mountain. Our food was delicious both times. Our waiter was friendly and kind. We will return to Massey's on our next visit!
While the atmosphere is charming, the front end staff ok-to-good, and the food looked good, my experience was somewhat less than this. I will give them the benefit of the doubt this time and try them again someday. I’m bothering to leave a review because I know it is important for restaurants, especially, and not doing so helps no one… We, perhaps, challenged them today by having a party of twelve, however, a well organized team would have risen to that occasion. Our food was late, forty minutes late, arrived piecemeal, and mostly cold. Most just accepted this, I did not. Though my entree looked ‘ok’ it was cold. Greasy, cold, over cooked potatoes are not something you serve, ditto a breakfast burrito. Teamwork among the staff seemed lacking. Our server seemed to lose us in the fray. Today was a cool day, breezy, yet in spite of that the place was wide open with garage doors up and we had to ask several times to close a nearby door that was repeatedly propped open by staff. I spoke to a manager regarding my entree but it apparently did no good, as I never did get the fresh hot entree she promised and bummed a slice of pizza from someone in our party. I’ll be honest; the pizza was good! You eat even cold pizza when you’re hungry… As I said, I will try these folks again in hopes of a better experience.
We were visiting the Lookout Mountain area for only a night and found Massey's. Though a little chilly that evening the outdoor patio with fire pits looked very inviting. The setting is beautiful and the inside with its generous booths was very comfortable. The service was very good with knowledgable staff that did not rush us. Food was great. Overall, a standout that we will return to if in the area again. Great to have an independent restaurant doing their own thing in such a composed way.
