Good food but came out very late. It was cold. Funny thing, if you don’t leave a tip at the register, it just might be a factor in how quick your food comes out. 2 parties after us - with larger orders - added a tip and got their food before us. 🤔 News flash to Ricks GenZ employees: a tip is traditionally a “thank you” for good service by a WAITER OR WAITRESS whose hourly pay is well below minimum wage. It’s not a freebie bonus to cashiers or cooks. Tips come at the END of the meal when the customer determines how courteous and professional the service was.

I ordered a slab of ribs, pint of potato salad, cobbler and a large cup of ice. I received half a slab of ribs with end pieces put together to try and make the other half up. The potato salad and cobbler were correct. My biggest issue with this order is that I paid you $0.50 for a large cup of ice. You give me a cup of that's 75% full and has black marks inside of the cup as if the ink design from another cup transferred into it. There's no excuse for this. You can take 2 seconds to look inside the cup before putting anything in it. And there's no reason AT ALL to charge us for a cup of ice and not fill it ALL THE WAY UP. Im spending almost $40 on my order and you mean to tell me you cheated me out of half a slab of ribs AND my ICE???? Im more upset about the ice than anything because Sonic is nearby. I could have gone there and gotten a large cup of ice without trouble.
And since when did Ricks stop giving out the complementary wet wipes when we order a slab of ribs with sides?? The service overall has gone downhill. The employees don't have bad attitudes but their service skills- making the food look presentable, not handing us food containers that have food spilled on or, napkins, putting our slabs of ribs in the foil containers has declined. Even when taking our orders, we are rushed and details are skipped. Had i not stopped the person taking my orders, he was going to skip past if i wanted bbq sauce for a full slab of ribs.

Tonight was our 1st time eating at Rick's BBQ & the food was delicious & service was fantastic! We both had the pulled pork plates & love the BBQ sauce! The pork was seasoned & smoked to perfection! The fried pickles were delicious & the Chicken Stew was perfect! We want to give a shout out to Anna who was absolutely amazing & shared local culture and places to visit (we are traveling from Glasgow, KY) & we truly appreciate her kindness & excellent recommendations! Rick's in Lawrenceburg, TN is our new favorite place to eat & we will be back again when we visit this historic area. Thank you for being so awesome & providng delicious food at affordable prices!

Whent to get food tonight and ordered fried pickles and got not even a full pickle and my sandwiches where over 5 dollars a piece total order for one person was 17.85 for 2 sandwiches and pickles that is rediclis.
