Sat here for an hour this morning and when they finally brought me food it wasn't even close to what I ordered. Server blamed it on someone else. They have lost my business until they can do better, and I hate that because they used to be my favorite.
Our first time here, much needed date night. Food was great, a little sad they were out of a few things, now i have to back lol. Our server miss Fenetia was very sweet, reminded us of our place in Wisconsin. Beautiful dinning area, trendy bar area. We will be back to update.

12/19/25: Server Fenisha (sp) 5:45 pm. I have been by this location going to the post office so many times and just plain missed it. It next to but under the bridge level along the river bank. Across from the Fire Department. Very inviting look to it as you approach. We parked under the bridge curbside, and felt safe in the area. Walked maybe 100 feet. Entered technically from the back into the bar area. Very warm friendly folks, not loud, big vintage chairs at the table we sat at looking out the massive beautiful windows. The restrooms are through the other side of the dinning room which is not far away, lots of history on the way back to look at. The tables in the dinning room were so intimate and quaint, the gas fireplace was on and it was perfect. We will be back to sit in that room, we just didnt want to jump ship on our server that night. The menu which is on their sites is very inviting, and price pointed far better then most. The taste was on point and the helping sizes were fairly large. It was a much-needed night out to go hide from our lives for a couple hours. We enjoyed it and we will be back, probably together, and bringing friends on occasion. I love the history of the longest running family business in the town, and the town itself. Another Tennessee gem, I give it 4.5 stars only gripe I had was they were out of shrimp and the pineapple cake. LOL Thank you team, we will update this as we visit in the future.
Dined in tonight, staff was polite, and we decided to sit on the bar side since their was no one in the dining section. The area was clean. there were their regular patrons at which were kinda loud but not bad. We ordered, and the appetizers cane out first as they should, but 3 minutes later, the ontrays came out.( no time management to allow people to enjoy the appetizers) We ordered the cheddar biscuits and beer cheese dip and pretzels- both were amazing reason for 3 stars. I ordered the pulled pork plate with a loaded bake potato and mac & cheese- the mac and cheese looked and taste like it came out of a box and was in a stirifome cup sitting on the pulled pork which was mushy and either had been frozen or reheated (not fresh) baked potato was ok. Also got sliders, and it was ok. Also, staff was busy sitting at the bar playing on their phones and had to wait 20 minutes for a refill on a drink. The table beside us had mugs sitting on the table and were their our whole visit. This was my experience at the restraunt, and it is a neat building with a lot of character. (I just wish the food was better and fresh. My opinion)

Appetizer visit... interesting log cabin building and I can see why they survived the C-19 days of 2020. Great ice tea.

Went there last night 10/25/24. Our server was horrible. Barley acknowledged us. She took for ever to come back and take our order after drink order. We ordered ribeye steak and they were sold out and another server came to tell us. Our server acted like she hated being there. The food was just mehh. Our friends were from out of town. We were so embarrassed. We will never go back which is a shame because we love to support our local businesses. Sorry customer lost!
This is one of my favorite places!

Excellent salmon, wonderful mashed potatoes and spectacular broccoli! Thoroughly enjoyed lunch in this quaint 200 year old building.

Well worth the drive past a bunch of chain restaurants. The salmon dinner with mashed potato & broccoli was perfect.
