While passing through the area I stopped at El Senior for lunch, my experience wasn’t good. The food was okay, it was a bit bland. I got the fajita burrito and it was mostly refried beans, the few vegetables and pieces of steak I did get in the burrito were decent. Unfortunately bland food wasn’t the worst of the experience, the waitress after giving us our initial drinks never came back to our table. Someone else brought our food out. We did see her taking care of her other table but she never stopped back at ours so we gave up on the idea of a drink refill and ended up asking a passerby that worked at the restaurant for our ticket. We accepted our experience for what it was and will simply never return.

Twice now have placed to go orders, paid, and gotten home without $15 + in food. Returned and it was not rectified. Told it WAS in bag. Won't be back to eat in or take out. Huge disappointment.

I have tried eating here several times. Each time, I am missing something. Usually I’m missing the cheese dip. So, the cheese dip is $5.99 and, again, I did t get it. The lady up front was rude and kept laughing because I was have issues with my card.
Once home, I realized my cheese dip was missing and called back. Same lady answered the phone and when I asked about my cheese dip, she laughed (again) and said, yes..the other bag was in the back. This must be the way they make their profit margins, but not giving their customers all of their order. When my daughter called back, she was told there was no manager on duty. When we asked for her name, she refused to give us her name. Again, she was also rude to my daughter!
This is the last time I will try eating here! $52 and still didn’t get all of our food!

The food was good, but the restaurant was too hot to eat Mexican food. We sat to the left as you walk in and to say it was stuffy was an understatement!!! I think it was pushing 80 degrees on that end of the building. It sure if air conditioning was not on or not a large enough unit for the building. Either way it was NOT comfortable in there. But the food that I ate was good!!!!

4 stars for food. 1 star for service. Really like the food here and decent priced for what you get but staff is not friendly. Have ate here twice now and thought the first time was an off night because the server was not very pleasant. Everyone has off days. So tried it again and a different server not pleasant second time either. Both times our server was a female. Neither server made us feel welcome and we felt like our business was not wanted there. It wasn’t busy either time we went.

Need to try the Jamaica hibiscus 🌺 tea and the el pastor chimichanga.
The tea is a bit tarte and sweetened not overly sweet tho is a really good tasting drink. Would pair perfectly with some rum to turn it into a cocktail.
El pastor Chimichanga is pork with a hint of pineapple 🍍 flavor great tasting and stuffed into a deep fried burrito with cheese sauce. Comes with the traditional sides.
Best way to eat it is to take a bite of the chimichanga with some guacamole and sour cream salad the flavors is to die for.

What a nice place to grab some lunch or dinner. The food was very authentic and the taste was delicious. The sauces were exceptional especially the cilantro sauce!
