Our absolute favorite local BBQ place. We always start with the cheese curds, which are the best I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with any of the meats. Even the catfish, which they sometimes have on Fridays or Saturdays, is fantastic. Yesterday I got the combo platter with smoked meatloaf, smoked bologna, and chopped brisket. I’ve only ever had two sides - onion rings and potato salad, and they are great. I’ve considered buying a family size side of potato salad to go - it is that good.
Service is wonderful. All of the servers work together, and we all feel so well taken care of.
They offer a veterans discount, which makes me choose to support them with my business even more.

Kid-friendliness: The servers are all sweet ladies, so they’re great with kids.
Omg everything was freaking delicious! Our first time there and we will definitely be back soon! If I had one wish though that they had Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce! Then it would feel like home. We still enjoyed every bite though!!
We go to Sons of Smoke almost every Friday and it is the best BBQ Ribs I’ve ever eaten. Hands down. Absolutely love it. The service is amazing. The food is top notch. I hope this is our forever Friday tradition.

the meat is wonderful and definitely much better than other places close by especially price vs quality. the sides could definitely be much better though. we normally take it to go and make our own sides
