This place has been referred to me for a long time. I finally went recently. So far, I've only been here twice; once with my friends and the second time with my wife. There's an easy lunchroom style setup. The food and service was consistent. My friends and I had an annual party to celebrate 2 birthdays and decided to have Bailey and Cato's cater the affair. We were gobsmacked by how hot, fresh and delicious all of the food was and everyone came away satisfied. We had catfish and salmon croquets with mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and turnip greens and cornbread.
The food was really good. The seating is old and seems to be more of a order and take with you type of place. I was a little surprised they didn't have a fountain drink machine or sweet tea option. In the south with a meat and 2 place sweet tea seems to go hand and hand. The girls working behind the counter were very nice and friendly. The food itself was really good.
