Visited at lunch time and expected a wait. No wait! Seated and helped immediately by a pleasant server. We were served quickly despite the full restaurant. Both meals were exactly right, and both very good. The tall BLT sandwich and house made chips were on point. My chicken pot pie was definitely next level. Cold drinks refilled quickly, servers were knowledgeable and encouraging, and the mud pie dessert was very very good. I want to find something to complain about since finding out that this was one of a large chain of Metro Diners, but the local owner and manager have absolutely nailed it. We are impressed!

Was sat at the bar... after 5 minutes I returned to the hostess stand to get menus... during the next several minutes I watched as an employee came from the back with some type of breading on her fingers begin to eat from the food on the cooks line on plain sight of everyone.... after several more minutes I left the restaurant. I have eaten here several times in the past and had been generally pleased till today... absolutely trashy, do better guys.

Although we were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in less than 15. From there, it went downhill. It took so long to get waited on, someone else stepped in and took our drink orders. When the waitress finally came by to get our food order, we got the impression that she didn't want to be there. We went through the coffee and waited a while before flagging someone down for refills. When our food finally came after a long wait, it was room temperature at best, while steam was coming off of the food going to other tables. It looked good, but was not hot at all. Butter would not melt on the pancakes or toast. We sent the biscuit and gravy back with a manager because it was just gross served cold. Over medium eggs were gelled from sitting too long. As you can see from the pictures, the cooks did a great job, but it sat too long waiting on her to deliver it. Sipping on my milk, it was almost gone when the food arrived. We should have walked out, but ate the rest of the meal. We had to ask for the next two coffee refills. The waitress finally came back around after we were done with an insincere "how is everything" and just kept on walking. We love Metro but have never had such a bad experience. Even though a manager knew we were upset, we were never checked on again. We will continue to patron Metro Diners, but never again this location.

The hospitality in this place is so welcoming and on point. Tyler was our server a very attentive and sweet young man with some amazing tattoos. The food was well priced, tasty, and very generous portions. In town from Chicago- very happy with this stop- and I love the decor and way this place is set up!!

It a little busy and only brief wait for a table. They informed me that a table was ready for Batman. I also like the text notice, for times a person might wait outside. Amanda's service was thoughtful and speedy. My Breakfast Pie and her Monte Cristo were enjoyed. The Bloody Mary was also very good. I'm stuffed!

We have been here twice. First time the service was great. The 2nd time service was horrible. My wife had to get someone else to get her refill. I didn't get one at all. The food came out cold. I would come back if the service was better. Food is decent.

The gluten free club sandwich is MASSIVE. I got the mashed potatoes (no gravy) since the fries are cooked in a common fryer. Fantastic food, and will definitely be back next time I'm home for a visit.

I pride myself on visiting as many Metro Diner restaurants as I can. This one did not disappoint me at all. I truly love this franchise and I would recommend it to anyone anywhere!
Me and my family came in as a party of 14 on New Years Day. Tracy was our server and she was sooo nice. Even though we were a large party she was able to provide us the best service all with a smile on her face. The food portions are huge, you'd probably be able to share a meal. And the $2.99 Mimosas were really good.

Good food but service was so so. It is a nice restaurant to have in the area with a good variety of food and drink options. They do also serve some alcoholic beverages!

If I could give zero stars I would. My first experience here was last night. 12-28-19. And I was very angry over the service I received. Atmosphere was great, not a lot of people. But we got ignored, shoved back in a corner, our food sat on the warming counter for nearly 15 minutes. Servers stand there looking at our food, then walked away. Finally got our food and waitress checked on us 1 time. Never got refills, even the manager walked to every table asking about their service and low and behold they passed our table entirely. I will not be back, nor my friends and family. And metro, please don't give me no apologies, your service sucked. You could give me 100 free meals and I still won't come back.

Holy cow! Don’t come hungry. The portions are HUGE. My husband and I could have easily split a meal and left plenty full. He loved his cinnamon roll pancakes. They were so rich and gooey....he has leftovers for the morning. I had The Bissell breakfast. Just the pancakes alone filled me up. I easily had 3/4 of the meal leftover. The prices may seem a tad bit high for a diner, but when you see all the food - it’s more than reasonable. Everything was made fresh to order, arrived hot, tasted great, and was brought to our table by our excellent server. Try them out!!!
