Friendly staff and really good food. Their beef hummus bowl looks fantastic in its presentation. It has great flavor with the pickled veggies, and I really enjoyed the roasted eggplant. I have been here a few times, and everything is good, but I will probably order that dish every time.

I was really excited to check out a new shawarma joint in Madison. The vibe was super cool and the service was friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking is also a plus in this area! It was super cool that they had a water station and 2 gender neutral bathrooms. I was really excited about them having garlic toum since we don't really have any Mediterranean in town with that element and the zattar fries with it were a very creative and modern twist that did not disappoint. The chicken in the shawarma wrap was really good but unfortunately, I just didn't enjoy it as much in wrap form. The different flavors in Mediterranean salad with shawarma and pickled veggies are just better experienced separately and the wrap didn't hold up and just wasn't as satisfying and fluffy as fresh baked pita on the side, fresh from a brick oven. It's a great idea and has great flavors but was just a modern twist that didn't work for me. I still enjoyed the experience but will probably just go back to our boring street food type Greek around here for a better value with more meat and veggies for the $.

Exceptional food! So many delicious and unique flavors in the lamb schwarma! Really enjoyed it. And the hummus and pita is very good! Pita came out fluffy and warm.

I found Vega Shawarma on my first day of rehearsal for Nashville Repertory Theatre’s Come From Away. I literally never went anywhere else after my first bite of their falafel sandwich. Every day after that I would alternate between their chicken shawarma sandwich and the falafel. Today I also ordered one of the best “bagels” (quotation marks theirs) I’ve ever had today. The bagel itself was covered in sesame seeds and drizzled with honey. The dip (instead of cream cheese) was phenomenal. Yogurt and Zatar, olives, olive oil - incredible. I would take it over a bagel and cream cheese any day. Their portion sizes are more than generous and their flavor profiles are next level. Some of the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Oh! And their date balls and coffee halva are wonderful deserts. They had many more to choose from. Highly recommend!
