The food you get for the price is not worth it. Very frustrating to drop $40 and getting small servings (frys) with almost no flavor.
The service was good and the people were super nice. Just can’t believe we spent that much for food that was so underwhelming. No worth the price. Sodas were amazing though.

Nice spot to fill up, excellent people and service, very clean and easy to move through. Orange almond cake compared to Lyra was a pass, and the flavor profile of entree's was okay, but nothing distinctive like Rakka. This place was good, but it didn't really have anything that made me feel like I had to come back and have a particular dish. Cool spot though.

Vega Shawarma is incredible! It's fantastic to have a good lunch spot on the east side with easy parking. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and healthy. I strongly encourage everyone to get out and support local small business' like this that make our world a wonderful place.

I’m obsessed. I’ve eaten here a few times since it’s open. Can’t get enough of the beef schwarma, and the orange cake. One of my favorite things (besides its overall flavors, textures, and that amazing bread) is that it’s delicious even cold. I’ve grabbed my leftovers mid-day and not even needed to reheat. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Had lunch today at Vega Shawarma restaurant. Robert had lamb, I had a beef shawarma sandwich, Katrina had kibbeh (beef rice fried ball). Orange almond cake and date sesame seed balls. ? ?. 1500 Gallatin Rd Madison TN behind Big Daddy Hot Dogs. Great Middle Eastern food.
Vegetarian options: my daughter has food allergies, but there was plenty to choose from here.
Parking: plenty of parking old Kmart location.
Wheelchair accessibility: wide doorway one level

Beef shawarma, falafel sandwich, and the fries are my favorites. The kids plate has plenty of food and both my kids love it. House made sodas are too good to pass up--try the lemon mint! Tons of parking and service is quick. These are all the reasons why our family comes here once a week!

Delicious. Freshly made to order. Had the chicken shawarma it was spiced perfectly. The spice on the fries was delicious and with the perfect crisp. The grilled cheese was mouth watering good! Can't wait to go back and try something (everything) else!
So happy Madison has a great different option for food!

I’ve been here twice. First time it was pretty good, the second time the chicken was inedible (not seasoned with a gross fatty texture). The wraps were super soggy and it took a long time for the order to come out. Based in my second experience I would not eat here again.

Everyone was really nice and the location and parking is great! But I wouldn’t go back here. The chicken shawarma was just really bland with no seasoning in sight. And the bread used for the wrap doest’t hold up well to all the sauce, so it was really soggy. Three stars because the fries are so delicious! But yea, for the nearly $30 I paid for the wrap, fries, and baklava, I would not go here again nor recommend it.

I have eaten at Vega just about every week since they opened. I dream about the beef shawarma. The hummus, pita, fries, falafel, orange cake… it’s all amazing. Additional perks - kids meals, easy parking, affordable and healthy. Very excited to have this place on this side of town!
