Wonderful little KFC that has a buffet. That's right. You heard me a buffet! The next closest KFC buffet is in somewhere in the Carolinas. Food is what you expect from KFC 11 herbs and spices etc. They have original crispy and baked on the buffet. Also chicken and dumplings which is quite rare and quite good honestly. Stay away from the ranch potatoes. They taste horrible. Just stick to the regular. All in all, if you're nearby, stop in and say hi. 8 out of 10.

I just have to take a minute to brag on Kentucky Fried Chicken because today’s visit truly warmed my heart. ❤️
When I walked in, a young lady at the counter was helping an Indian couple who were clearly having a hard time understanding one another. She was patient, kind, and never once showed frustration or irritation — just genuine care and grace. Watching that alone was enough to make my day.
When it was my turn to order, she took the extra time to let me know that if I ordered a combo, it would actually save me some money. That may seem like a small thing, but it meant a lot — she didn’t have to do that, but she chose to.
As I stood there waiting, I couldn’t help but notice how the entire staff interacted. They were laughing, cutting up, and seemed genuinely happy to be working together. You can feel when a workplace has a good culture, and this one absolutely does.
Then two older gentlemen came in, and it was so sweet to see that the staff knew them by name. One gentleman tried to pay with a gift card that was showing a zero balance. The manager asked if he still wanted to place his order, and when he started counting his money, she kindly told him that if he didn’t have enough, she had more than enough to help him. He ended up being fine — but that simple offer of kindness said everything.
When the next gentleman finished ordering, the manager realized my order had somehow been deleted. She immediately jumped into action, got everything put back together quickly, and even added something extra because I had to wait. She didn’t have to do that — but she did, and it meant a lot.
And one last thing… if you’ve ever seen a menu board photo and thought, there’s no way it looks like that in real life — let me tell you, that chicken pot pie came out looking even better than the picture. Huge, golden, and absolutely amazing.
I love bragging on businesses in our community when they deserve it, and today this one truly did. Kindness, patience, teamwork, and genuine care are alive and well at our Madisonville KFC — and it shows. 💛🍗

Buffet is a decent size but the variety is small. Chicken wasn’t that fresh been heated for a while so it was dry and chewy. Some things were empty on the buffet they restocked it slowly . The restaurant was busy during 3-4pm on a Saturday . Hard to find a table for our family. Paid $60 for 2 adults and 2 children buffet and drink included . Staff was accommodating .
We was parked at the front door ordering on the app and and 9pm that turned off the lights and locked the door which was 30 minutes earlier than what was posted as the hours. Very rude and unprofessional.

I went through the drive thru, I had coupons, the little girl acted as though it made her mad, she then proceeded to be very rude with me! I got to the window and asked if I could add something I had forgotten and she very rudely said… I’m sorry that would be a 5 min wait then I proceeded to sit there and wait on my order for at least 3 of those 5 minutes! I understand it’s Sunday and it’s very busy, but employees should always be courteous and kind to their customers, that is a good way to lose business!!!

I took my husband out for lunch and decided to get the eight piece bucket at $25 that was a great find. The counter lady was extremely nice and took our order and even brought it to our table. Again, she was extremely wonderful. The food was excellent hot good texture and plenty for both of us. All in all it was a great decision to come here. The manager is wonderful she's always on her game. Great find we will definitely be back.
