“Great Food. But the cashier insisted on my paying the $0.02 on a $140.02 bill. No one in my party had any change and I did not think I needed $0.98 in change. That is not good customer service. And there was not a change dish to get the 2 cents from.”

“There is always a variety of delicious foods from which to choose. The cashiers are welcoming and helpful. The servers and cooks are friendly. The cafeteria is well organized and always clean. I also greatly appreciate kindness that everyone showed to my invalid father when he came. The cafeteria staff gets an A+.”

“I recently worked with Stacie to plan/provide food for a family event at Martin Courtyard. We are not local so all planning was by phone, email, text. Stacie was helpful, pleasant, and so easy to work with. She offered recommendations and made the remote planning simple. She delivered the food and it was great! Everyone agreed. You should use Vantage Coffee Roasters for your event. I checked out their coffee the day before our event. Coffee was great. They have a lot of sugar-free syrup options. I went back the next day and I will return the next time I’m in Martin.”

“When it’s good, it’s great. The only reason I did 4 stars is because my drinks are not always consistent even though I order them the exact same. I get mocha frappe with extra thick dark chocolate but sometimes I can tell they use the Ghana chocolate and I don’t like the taste at all. I usually have my kids with me so I don’t want to make them sit there or the people behind me to have to sit there for them to remake it for me. It seems small but it truly ruins the drink for me.”

“6/10/25. First time to Los Portales, so Mexican food is on of my favorites. I would put Los Portales up with one of the best Mexican restaurants for the flavor of their food. The restroom was not of the wall with decor. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I would recommend Los Portales.”

“4 of our group of 5 got cheese curds as a side with our trays. Starting with the biggest qty order of 6 curds, it gradually got less and les where 1 of us only got 4. Kitchen service 101 says all orders should be the same qty and portion size. My daughter said her grilled chicken sandwich was really overcooked and tasted like fish more than chicken. Otherwise it was a decent meal for the price and amount of food we got utilizing the tray options.”
