ate Blakes tonight, at my daughter's request, for her birthday. Everything was delicious, but our night was made by having a great waiter! I believe his name was Solomon. He was so nice, made sure he got everyone's order right, and was super personable. We all complimented on how great he was!

This place has an awesome building and a crazy amount of room. We were told our wait would be 15 minutes, was maybe a minute.

Our server was very friendly and started out attentive.

We came toward the end of the evening and we're told up front of 2 or 3 items that had ran out earlier, which was fine.

Once we ordered, it seemed like our food took a bit longer than it should ti come out, and when it did, it was luke warm at best. Felt like it had sat, waiting to be picked up for a few minutes.

At first when our meals were brought out, I was brought the wrong order. This was corrected in a couple minutes, but my order was missing an item, which I was only told about after asking, that it (sausage link) had also ran out, so extra of another item had been substituted, without my knowledge.

We had the fried pickles, which were amazing! The BBQ sampler plate, which tasted fine, but on the cold side, and didn't gave a sample of everything. And the Bubba Cole, which my wife says was very good, but on the cold side as well.

When we were done, we could not get our waitress because she was engaged in an animated conversation for about 15 minutes.

In all, we are more disappointed with our service and communication about the food availability than the temperature of the food.

The bubba cole tasted great, just a little cold. The fried pickles are different and a must. The mac n cheese, fried Brussels and baked beans were also very good.

This was the first time going here and we will never go back. I had a patty melt and it was so greasy I couldn't eat it for fear I would be sick. My partner had a BBQ sandwich that was ok but very dry. $31.82 is a lot of money for what we got.

Wow! Everything we tried was absolutely incredible. Brussels, deviled eggs, brisket, ribs, pulled pork and homemade deserts!

Our group had a wonderful dinner at Blake's on our visit to UT Martin. Blake and all the staff were so friendly. The food was delicious! I had the pulled pork plate. The bbq sauce on the table and the Alabama white sauce was sooo good... and the sweet jalapeno cornbread is a must!!

Our server Halle was THE Sweetest! Her customer service was great! Her recommendation on how to level UP the Bubba Cole sandwich was spot on! We even made friends with the table next to us… because of their bragging about how great their dinner was!!
Ribs & Brisket were fantastic! Keep up the great work! 100% would recommend Blake’s.. over & over!

Been multiple times, every visit has been FABALUS!! The starters are great, be careful with the smoked cream cheese and their very own seasoned crackers as they just might make you slap the biggest man at the table next to you!! 🤣 The “Run of the Mill” platter is outstanding also. Can’t beat this stop when in Martin, TN It’s an A+ all the way around…👍🏻👍🏻

Waited 1 and half hours then to get told out of most stuff last visit here

I am a big fan of this place. My wife and I go here often for date night and always have a lovely time. The interior is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is always great, and every meal I have had there has been amazing. The only complaint I have is that it's a little cold inside sometimes, especially when you are set next to a vent.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. I don't even know if I could pick a favorite dish. The smoked cream cheese appetizer was absolutely delicious as was the Charcuterie Board. The fried pickles were such a unique take on them with bright flavor and a great crunch. The brisket and ribs were both so tender they almost fell apart and I loved the variety of sauces. The pimento cheese is also an absolute must have and the Brussels sprouts will make you happy to eat your vegetables. The bubba Cole, the run of the mill sampler, the pork chops, the deviled eggs; all amazing! The drink specials were also tasty and reasonably priced. Dessert looked amazing but to be honest I was so full I didn't even have room to try it. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. It has a great vibe for a family dinner or a date night. The service was excellent and the owner is almost always on site and such a lovely human being. I absolutely recommend giving this a try if you're in the area.

Blake's at Southern Milling is a very cool place with excellent BBQ. Awesome atmosphere with excellent service. I had the smoked brisket plate with some Mac and cheese. Meat was delicious but that mac and cheese was exceptional. Topped it off with some ice cream for desert ya buddy. We were like over 20 people but the waitress handled us very patiently while also being very friendly. Recommend calling and putting your name in as it seemed to be a popular place. Had to wait about thirty minutes on a Friday night after calling ahead so not bad.
