Restruant is small, but the food is so good. The staff is super nice.
We ate there for Father’s Day and it was a great time even with a little bit of a wait
Amazing food and service!! We had the blackened MahiMahi with the blackened rice and also had the Rockefeller oysters and fried green beans. The waitress gave outstanding service and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back soon!
Food was great, they were super busy the night me and my partner went, but we walked in with no call ahead and got sat, ate and left in under 2 hours
Steak is delicious!
The FSA - Food, Service, & Atmosphere was dynamite. As a starter, we had the Cajun pickle chips and they were cooked to perfection. We had the Bloody Mary as our cocktail and the recipe was spot on. I would like to see them punch up the presentation. Mine had an Olive & Pickled Okra. For taste I give it a 10. For Presentation, I give it an 8. For main course, I had the Gator Tavern Tacos and I recommend them. Great flavor! Very fresh! My friend had Cajun raw oysters and she said they definitely packed the heat! Our server was excellent. He was new but Dylan did a fantastic job. Very personable and attentive to us. Atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, and had character and charm. This is definitely a favorite of mine!
Clean, well designed, friendly staff. Had some appetizers and the giant grilled shrimp dinner. Everything was tasty.

I'm going to be honest, I did not have high hopes for this place going in. It's an expensive "oyster bar" in Martin TN. My dining experiences in Martin so far have told me that if I want good food, either cook it myself, or leave the area, far far away.
But I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was AMAZING! And for the first time in my 40 years on this earth, the shrimp in the pasta dish DIDN'T have tails left on them! I don't have to tell you how unheard of that is.
We got the Shrimp Alfredo, and the Seafood Sampler. Along with Cajun Pickle chips and Fried Banana Peppers For appetizers. And everything was amazing.
And the service. Oh My God the service. We ordered everything at the same time. But they ACTUALLY paced the meal properly. We got our appetizers. And around the time we were done with those, our side salads came. We had time to finish our salads and digest for a moment or two before our entrees came.
And they were attentive with our drinks as well.
It isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny! Easily the best restaurant in Martin.

Excellent service. I cannot overstate how great the service was for our entire meal. We ordered everything (2 apps, 2 mains) at once and everything came out at appropriate times. I never had to ask for more water.
The food was great. I have never had fried pepperocini peppers before, but they are excellent. The Cajun ranch is great, not too spicy or salty. All of the fish the we ordered was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp in the Cajun Alfredo we ordered didn't have the tails on!! (I will die on this hill - more restaurants should take the tails off of shrimp that are going INTO a dish)
We will definitely be back.

Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Food was horrible. My steak was leather, everyone else in my party had finished by the time I got it and my grandsons hush puppies were burned to the point of being black. Did not make a good first impression. Hie friend ordered steak medium and it was bloody rare. My first and probably only trip here.

Staff was very sweet. Food was good, atmosphere is very quaint, and very old and lovely architecture.Seemed to be fairly busyPeople Unfortunately, were not the best at coming around to your table and checking on you once that you were served.

Tried Blue Oak for the first time and was quite impressed. I had a hamburger steak which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The place was quite busy but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table for a party of six. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great as well. This was my first visit but it won't be my last.
