Bubba Brew's Sports Bar & Grill

The food was great—especially the nachos, which could easily feed three people (no joke!). However, one downside was the number of people smoking right in the middle of the dining area, around families and children—including mine. That was definitely frustrating. It would be much better if smoking were limited to the outer edges of the restaurant, away from the main seating area. Aside from that, we still had an overall good experience.

Just getting it up and running

Service was great! We did an after graduation party with about 30 is so people and it was great. Great atmosphere, good food too! I'm from Ohio, but if I'm ever back in town will definitely visit again!

Brisket was overcooked and chicken wrap was falling apart upon arrival. Catfish was good.

Fish tacos were served cold, French fries ŵere barely warm and food is always way too salty. Great music though.

Spent $15 on a drink with no alcohol, was supposed to have, Overpriced fruit juice. That was a disappointment. But I really like the place.

Food is usually great. Never had any major issues with anything coming here. BUT tonight I really wanted to give the musician a tip and only had a couple dollars on me. We weren't allowed to add extra to our bill to get money back. We were told to check in the shop to see if they had an ATM or if they'd allow to add extra $. No ATM and when the store was asked she said no but your server may be able to....THERE NEEDS TO BE A WAY TO ADD A TIP FOR THE MUSICIANS COMING THERE FOR THOSE WITHOUT CASH. Instead of giving him $100, he got $3☹️

Here from Texas and came with our son to hang out, watch the Tennessee/Oklahoma football game and listen to the live band. The atmosphere is amazing as you sit around listening to music, visiting with people and looking out over Norris Lake. Staff and some patrons alike dressed up in costumes adding to the festive atmosphere. Our Angel waitress Kearra was awesome! Will definitely be back the next time we come to visit our son.

Food has always been hit or miss... Skinny, over-cooked wings. Also... the specialty drinks in keepsake mugs had hardly any alcohol in them. Our experience was so bad we didn't bother taking the mugs with us. Who wants to be reminded of a bad time.

They recently remodeled. Now the live band blocks the lake views and is LOUD as hell. They do NOT need a PA blasting at tables where you have to scream to be heard. The waitress couldn't hear us giving her our order and we couldnt talk amonst ourselves. VERY POOR design choices.

Better food, drinks and better atmosphere and it might be worth the expensive price.

I went to the terror from the deep jaws party on 8/17/24 and it was a chaotic mess. The manager apparently never told any of his staff about the event that had been planned months in advance. The staff was extremely overwhelmed and stressed. Also the manager wasn’t even on site because they had to go pick up an adapter to hook up all the TVs to play the jaws movie. Something that should have been done way before the day of the event.
We were told just to sit anywhere because it was so chaotic. I sat down at a table that no one had cleared off with a few other people (only spot open I saw) and our table was ignored for over 30 minutes. We had to flag down servers and tell them we haven’t been helped. Several servers were on the verge of crying from being yelled at by irate customers, and to help our server out we helped bus the table. I didn’t drink but everyone else at my table did and told me that apparently the bartenders were still fairly new that did their drinks, kept messing up and redoing, and we’re just free pouring (one of them barely tasted alcohol she said). We weren’t gonna complain about the food or drinks though because the staff was already over stressed over the incompetence of management. Our server was a sweetheart and we loved her though. I gave her a %100 tip on my bill because she deserved it.
In summary if you plan on having an event do not go here.

Visiting the lake for the first time and planned to eat dinner here. When we arrived at 6pm we learned that they had an event scheduled with a $10 cover per person and they were not allowing anyone under 18 in. This "family friendly restaurant" was not at all family friendly on a Saturday at dinner time. Very disappointed since there is not anything else near for dinner.

Great food, great service, and awesome atmosphere right on the lake.
