Absolutely stuffed on the ribeye steak. Nice large portions and quick service. I now see why the parking lot is always full.

We love going to Pete's and one of the best parts is asking what the desserts are! We had a monster cake and I do not think I have had something so tasty like that before. Make sure to ask about the desserts so you can try it!

Im really disheartened by this latest experience, I've grown up going to Pete's place and the steak being incomparable, excellent, and worth coming back for. However this time, it was so bad I definitely won't be back.
Our bill didn't match the prices listed on the menu, I understand prices change and vary but when they do, keeping your customers informed is probably the best policy for this exact reason.
Next, the steaks were wildly disappointing as 3 out of 4 steaks were cooked wrong. Two were supposed to be a medium well and one a medium, however all three steaks came out red all through the steak. Basically a medium rare. The only steak that was cooked right, was the steak made well done.
A ribeye that was supposed to cost 22 costed 25. And a charge of 6 dollars was added at the end of my bill with no notification that this would occur. For 3 adult steaks and 1 kids, our bill totaled to 148$ then after paying, we received a receipt for 154$. Service wasn't super slow but wasn't fast either. We also ordered killer cake to go, this cake was always the main reason why we'd go, that and the wonderful taste of the steak, but two cakes were missing half of the topping...
I miss the Pete's I'd take my family to and talk to friends about 5 years ago.

I was with friends. I was very pleased to see that now that I am OLD I can order from the kids' menu (12 and under or 60 and over) and I had the kids' ribeye and baked potato and they were delicious! The potato had such great potato flavor. I can't explain it, but it was nice and potatoey. :-) I live in Maryville, but I will be making the trek back out there to have another kids' ribeye and tater. Tater, as in Tater Valley, which is where my daddy was from.

Sounds like Dale Brown was in a bad mood or something. I have never had a bad experience there. He must not be from here because we all know you can't update menus every couple weeks when prices go up deal with it. Everything on the menu is great. Steaks are fabulous

Prices did not match the menu. When asked about the price difference(s) our waitress was both indifferent and uninterested in explaining. Great reviews for the ribeye on the website. Our experience was that the steaks were full of gristle and fat. Would not recommend.

Our first time there tonight and it exceeded any expectations. The food was hot and so delicious. Best grouper I've ever had. The servers were friendly, fast and accurate. We will definitely return! Reasonable prices too! You have to try it!

This place use to be better.. The outside of the restaurant has grown up with weeds and the shades shut to make it appear closed, the seats worn, torn. But mostly the staff I felt bad for. Our waitress was great but a few things she had to go thru was ruff. She immediately told us so sorry our menus are out of date the prices are higher, but no way to know what your gonna pay its a mystery. The most craziest thing to us is..... and we eat out everyday..... the craziest thing was if you order a house salad she said its lettuce only?????? Say huh!!! Lettuce only for over 3 dollars if you want it loaded there's an upcharge... thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard of like you know ain't nobody coming in there for just some Lettuce only... I felt bad that our waitress had to say that too us... it just leaves her open to getting crazy 🤪 questions and or mad customers. I miss the old Pete's place the one where sitting in restaurant you didnt have to experience a worn down business with local drunks at the bar saying things to your customers as they walk in like ohhhhh I told you its about to get awful in here. Lol 😆 meanwhile sitting in the back corner our neice had water dripping all over her from the ac. I truly hope they can fix the little things cause those matter and stick in our heads and dont make me think of a great experience like where I would want to go and spend my money for a date night like the good ole days. Definitely feel its gone downhill. But the food was good 👍
