The hotel was in a great location. The bar across was a little loud one night.

I got the 3 ground beef tacos with refried beans & rice. The beef wasn't even remotely seasoned. I mentioned it to the waitress, who chuckled & said that she never orders them because of that. Oookay.

We were a group of 5. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. This is a family-run restaurant...the food and service reflected that. I had the enchiladas verdes. I enjoyed them but it was a lot of food. I'll try something else next time.

I ate there again yesterday… wasn’t sure what I wanted for lunch. So I went with the simple 3 taco place with rice and beans. The description said there were going to be 3 small tacos. Small…Maybe but they were packed full I got the ground beef, I was just looking for something to tide me over till I could get home and prepare for dinner. Wow…I left full. Felt I get a big bang for my buck. I was so impressed by the cook. It truly was the best to a I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant I had ever been. To make something so simple as a taco taste so delicious and not only that I could tell the cook had taken great pride in the presentation of the plate he was going to sent out. This comes from someone that has Managed restaurants for a living. I was so impressed by the flavor and care take with the food which was presented to me. Of Corse not only did I tip my server but I had to ask her if the cook could find a moment to speak with me. He was able and did. I had to have the opportunity to tell him how delicious the meal was and how it had brightened my day. I tipped him a $5.00 bill and told him to keep up the good work. It was the first time in my life I was impressed enough to tip a cook. It was so delicious, I just had to let him know how much I enjoyed his meal and thank him. They have a very good employee in him and I hope he is there a long time. So I can expect the same when I go back. I had been several times before and the food has always been in my opinion tasty and of high quality.

Service was just as amazing as the food! We had lunch with family and with talking I forgot to add photos. We had appetizers and meals for 4 with drinks only $55.00
We will definitely come here again!

This was highly hyped by my coworkers and I was pretty disappointed.

The presentation of our fundido dip was cool but it was the most shallow skillet of queso I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant (the last Mexican restaurant I went to in Middle TN legitimately gave us a cereal bowl of chorizo dip and we had plenty to smother our food in).

The chimichangas supreme were also disappointing. My beans were cold and I felt a little robbed by the size of the chimichangas in comparison to the ratio of the sides and the amount of toppings I got for my chimichangas.

The food WAS good but I can get my money's worth elsewhere.

Maria's is a great Mexican restaurant. We live closer to several other Mexican restaurants, but Maria's is worth the drive. The California burrito is the BEST burrito I have ever had. The owner really cares, so I recommend Maria's if you are looking for a great Mexican! Service is awesome, too!
