Their Ruben Sandwich is delicious and big enough to share. My sister and I got it and a baked potato to share once we got home. Would recommend highly!

Great service and great food ! Cool spot in old train station with a small train that circled inside A little pricy for burgers but it was good ! Fried green tomatoes and okra were delicious

More than just a great burger!! Had the grilled chicken breast and sides tonight for dinner and it was EXCELLENT! The chicken was flavorful and not even the least bit dry. Large portions of hot delicious foods. I have a Reuben sandwich and sidewinder fries usually. It's a great place to take the family. I love the old western saloon type decor. They offer live music every so often. Follow on Facebook for details. The owners are wonderful friendly folks. Once you come, you will keep coming back!

I heard about this place on the local radio and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. This resteraunt sits on a non-busy corner downtown, next to the public library. The inside is quaint, with 6-8 booths, a couple of tables and a bar with plenty of seating. The inside feels rustic, almost like a posh barn bar, with a wrap around track above patrons' heads where the train makes it's rounds. The server gave us what I think was the perfect balance of attention and peace to enjoy our meal. The owner also came by to ask about our experience and even got us some of their amazing Strawberry Butter to try. All of the food, from the best Fried Green Tomatoes around to the Charred Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction that came with the Homemade Bacon Mac Cheese Burger I had, this place was an absolute delight for a resteraunt that is still so new. We even snagged a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake and Oreo Cheesecake (both made In House) to try out later!! And at the end, when the unexpectedly cheap bill came, I finally knew McKenzie had a culinary gem on the rise.

The food was great and came out hot!! Also as a mom, it speak volumes when they have obviously taken the time to think about the kids! They had a legit high chair (not the wooden stool ones), a actual changing table with pad and plastic bags to put dirty diapers into, spare diapers, and a little toy train set at the table! For those of you who complain about the wait…do you not want fresh food?! Because mine was steaming when it came out! Just remember when McDonald’s or sonic mess up an order y’all still end up back there at some point. Give this place that same chance if you had a bad experience, we have to support our local businesses and restaurants!!

I went in with 0 expectations having read 0 reviews. The people were kind, the service was quite remarkable, and they went above and beyond with my food. I will eat there again. My only complaint was the red velvet cake had very very little icing on it so it ended up being more red sweet bread lol. That being said the 5 stars are quite justified as I went in an hour before closing and wasn't made to feel in the slightest like an inconvenience. Super good job. ?
