The food was pretty good, but it was horrible service. At one point, when I was without a drink, I seen my unattentive waitress go across the street. We were literally the only customers in the restaurant. I finally had to ask the bartender to go find my waitress. Horrible service.

The atmosphere is the best part of this place, but they need to fix that ugly kitchen service door in the lobby. It’s not a Waffle House, and it detracts from the overall experience. Everything from drinks, appetizers, and entrees was overpriced for what you get. For example, $10 for truffle fries without any sauce is outrageous. On the positive side, the fried green tomatoes were delicious. However, my $16 French dip was a huge disappointment. It was very light on meat and served dry without any mayo. Jason’s Deli has a much better French dip at a lower price. My wife’s Caesar salad was really tasty, though. I’ll give this place another chance before I swear it off for good.

Just returning the favor of one of your staff members. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. ✊ ✌️
Steep prices and Dusty Slay was right about this place. Cool you have great cocktail options and that’s where the line is drawn.

Had the worst service in a long time. Justin was our server. From the moment he brought us our drinks to the delivery of our check we said "Thank you" for everything he did. He never once said a simple "you're welcome "! We tried joking with him and nothing. No interaction / No personality. While he went through the motions and provided us with our drinks and meals. Slow service. He had no personality. Second time eating here and the last. BTW, his tip reflected his service! I'm an ex bartender and we tip extremely well.

First time at The Local! Let me just say the truffle fries are amazing!! Our waitress was nice and attentive. 5/5! Will be coming back.

A very disappointing experience, both my daughter and I had the French dip sandwich. The meat was dry and tasteless. Worst French dip ever. The service was basically non-existent. The waitress brought our food, never checking on us again. There were 7 in our party and no drink refills offered to any of us. There was an 18 percent gratituituy added. That would have been fine if we had received adequate service. I will add that the restaurant only has two or three tables that were occupied. I reported the poor food quality to the waitress and hostess. They both shrugged their shoulders and laughed. Horrible dining experience!!

Service was good, food was less than subpar for the price. I wouldn’t recommend. The best thing on my plates was a Caesar salad.

A month ago we made reservations for 4 and they didn’t have a table for us. Waited 20 mins and after being seated, the service was very slow and despite giving ourselves 2hr to eat, we were late getting to the nearby theatre for a show. The ambiance is amazing, so we decided to try it again today. Walking into today we hear the Manager apologizing to a table of 2 for the slowness. We sat down at a high top and were greeted by a waitress saying “it will be slow, but I’ll get to you”. Inside had 4 booths with small parties, no one seated outside, so hardly full. Asking what was on tap, they had only 2 IPA’s and bottled domestic light beer (bud, coors, Mich ultra) and nothing else seasonal or dark. The food is overpriced ($17 for a burger) and the it was same menus as last time, which last time was just ok. We decided to spend our money elsewhere and left. We wont be t trying it again. It’s a shame because it is so cute and the location, ambiance is perfect :-(
