Wait time was terrible and food was bout the same.

The food and atmosphere were ok, but the waitress initially forgot to take my order. and then forgot to bring my daughter and my orders. when they finally brought my order, she didn't take down all of my order. So I had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes to get all of my food.

Much better food and value than Mex Restaurants in Humboldt. Great avoidance to Strawberry Hellfestival. My Umbrella prefers Taco Tue to Fried chicken!

There is hardly anyone ever there so I worry about the food being old. Asked for queso and we got cheese water with clumps. Disgusting. Server asked if it was bad. We said I think so and he said “I don’t know why, sorry”. Still charged us. Won’t go back.

Let me tell you this place is amazing! We had the Burrito verde, Burrito el sombrero, two orders of rice and cheese dip. The food is great with large portion sizes. The price is incredible, especially compared to los portales, which was always our go to spot. This is definitely going into the rotation and replacing los portales.

The first time we picked up there delicious
Second time cold and price was different in a week span
T hired time got order wrong and ice cold. I called apparently no one speaks English.
I said they were cold from what I could understand he said they’re supposed to be cold. .

This is by far the better of the two Mexican restaurant in this area. This one is cleaner, staff is friendly the food is delicious. Awesome lunch menu. The salsa is spot on, tasty without being too spicy. The steak fajitas are cut and cooked perfect!

Nice thick tortilla chips served with creamy queso and a decent (properly canned) salsa. The Sombrero Quesadilla was a sodium packed explosion of cheesey, meaty, flavor paired with decent Spanish rice also topped with queso makes for a fulfilling Mexican dining experience with absolutely great table service, lively Spanish music and moderate prices. I'm glad I didn't pass this place up just because of the handmade sign by the road.
