I've had the pleasure of dining at various bbq establishments across the midsouth(lovin fresh, tops, one and only, rendezvous), so trust me when I say, this place is the best! We make the drive from Bolivar to Middleton for the park and will definitely be returning to Dougy Fresh BBQ. The family 6 pack was very reasonably priced and the gentleman working was super friendly and nice. :)

Dougy Fresh BBQ gives you a bang for your buck. The food was delicious, and the food servings were very generous, and the pricing was awesome for the amount of food given. My husband ordered the BBQ Bologna plate, and I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate. My husband had already consumed a portion of his meal before I took photos. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because outdoor seating is the only dining option, and it was too hot to dine outside.

I went there about 15 minutes before they close hoping by some chance they had meat left but pretty well knowing they wouldn't. He had already shut down the grill and locked the building up. Instead of just saying no we're closed ( which would have been completely fine, it was closing time) he gave me a big plate of the best brisket I've ever had, then offered to open the store back up to get sauce to go with it! Extremely good food and way beyond good service.

Don’t spend $10 on fast food if you are close to this place. Got a BBQ sandwich, chips and a drink for under $10 and had a $1 for a tip!! Great pulled pork, and the slaw was great! Who’d have thought to put black pepper into slaw but I’m going to have to rethink my idea of slaw. Highly recommended!

"Ms Dougy"❤️ makes the best slaw ever & Dougy's ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. The pulled pork & bbq sauce are tender & very good as well! VERY FRIENDLY, DOWN HOME FOLKS!! To quote another business, "It's worth the drive!"
