Came here grab quick lunch with my spouse and as where getting our drinks I smell a strong awful smell I thought it was cleaning supplies NOPE! My spouce said it was black mold... and you can smell throughout the dining room area! And really STORNGLY AT THE DRINK FOUNTAIN!!!! It's bad over there it made both of us feel ill turned both of our stomachs that health hazard to anyone who goes in there to eat. I'm sorry but I won't be eating there again. On scare 1/10 1.... not good would not recommend eating there if don't wanna smell mold while trying to eat ?

The restaurant has black mold in the ventilation, and you can smell it strongly when getting drinks from the drink fountain.
That is a serious health risk that I will not be taking again.

Drove through the drive thru to a blacked out menu board with a taped menu without prices. We ordered 2 chocolate ice cream cones, a mini taco, and a strawberry milkshake. Got up to the window with cracked glass and for $16 got an order of fried mushrooms. Brought up that it was the wrong thing and was supposed to be mini tacos. The lady then brought back 2 orders of mini tacos and 1 cup of chocolate ice cream. We reiterated that we just wanted one order of the mini tacos and were still missing an extra chocolate ice cream and strawberry milkshake. She then seemed confused and closed the window. Finally she brought the strawberry milkshake out and asked for another $6. After 15 minutes of allowing them to figure things out we just drove off. For $21 we got 2 orders of mini tacos, a strawberry milkshake, and one cup of chocolate ice cream. No receipt was given. Very disappointed in the service, atmosphere, and milkshake wasn't anything special. I wouldn't recommend

I love the Chow Wagon. Great Service. We live in Illinois but stop by there often visiting our daughter in Jackson Tn. The burgers and fries are perfect and the mint chocolate chip milkshake is the best milkshake I’ve ever had. If you’re going through Milan stop here you won’t regret it.
I've been eating here since I was a kid and even after changing ownership, I still love it. I'm a sucker for chow babies and a milkshake. This is a great hometown favorite and unless something major happens, always will be. ?

This is what a Lisa’s Special roast beef looks like now? A whole uncooked pepper and onions thrown on a sandwich. $30 for two meals? I definitely miss the old chow wagon
