No. Don't be in Millington or near Memphis and think this is where you should go for BBQ or catfish.
Friendly staff. Ordered at counter and found our own table in empty restaurant at around 6pm. Food was brought to us in reasonable time and included one type of sauce. My pulled pork was an ample portion but dry and tasteless. The fried catfish filets looked good with a light cornmeal batter, and also good sized portions. I just wish it was cooked slightly longer, as it was not thoroughly done. Also we took some of it home and was later surprised at the amount of grease we got out of it. My cole slaw was OK but had too much dressing for my taste. Meal came with 2 hushpuppies which were good, but definitely on the sweet side.
After my meal I went to their restroom. No hot water, broken towel dispenser, overflowing trash can, and an obviously bad paint job as the former color was visible in areas.

Catfish that is swai should be advertised as catfish. The cashier didn't offer no condiments or utensils. I don't think it was worth the $53 for two.

The PIG and Whistle is the only place I take out of town visitors.
My favorite dishes, dry rib rack. The cat fish would be better in steak cut. But still tasty.
New location again.

Been coming to Memphis area for work since 2020 and really haven’t been to impressed by the majority of bbq joints…Until I went to Pig and Whistle got the King combo and every bit of it was good down to the basket of bread.Highly recommend stopping in gonna go back and get the smoked cheeseburger! Mind you my buddy is a big time bbq and smoker guy hardcore about his bbq and he was impressed too, staff is super friendly the young lady working the counter was very kind.

Building needs a good cleaning, bbq sandwich, Cole slaw, very dry. Over price.. brisket basket baked beans, baked potato, no bun. Tops bbq is a 10 in comparison… the worker did not use gloves in preparation of food .

I ordered the shredded barbecue chicken sides were cold slaw for both. The meat was not shredded, no bun, and I wanted BBQ sauce on the side which they gave me. The BBQ sauce was very ketchup like, very amateur. The coleslaw was nasty no flavor. I didn't enjoy my meal, well the best I got out of it was my delicious unsweetened tea so thanks for that.
