Great food and awesome servers.
They treat Hispanics and/or Black people terrible. The Hispanic guests and the staff use derogatory language. There are people that understand the language. Learn to respect everyone as the only thing you should be worried about is the color green for the money.
My husband and I recently dined at Sake and Tekila, and unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing and frankly, quite disturbing. Upon arrival, we were seated in a secluded back corner despite numerous other booths being available closer to the main dining area.
During our meal, we were subjected to blatant racism. Customers at an adjacent table used a derogatory term in Spanish targeting Black individuals but it was directed at my husband, seemingly unaware that my husband and I both understand the language. My husband, who is Indigenous and Hispanic, addressed the issue with a look, which led one of the individuals to scold the other. While we are kind people and fluent in Spanish, we chose to converse in a mix of our native Muskogean language and English that evening. The staff, however, seemed visibly offended by our choice of language.
Regrettably, the discriminatory and seemingly colorist behavior extended to the staff. Our waitress exhibited overtly rude conduct towards me, interrupting me while I was trying to place my order, yet she was perfectly cordial with my husband, indicating a clear disparity in treatment. He ultimately had to intervene and correct her behavior.
Beyond the disturbing service, the food itself was a letdown. The Birria tacos and refried beans were bland and unsatisfactory. The Asian food options on the menu were comparatively better, but that hardly compensates for the overall negative experience.
If you are looking for a dining experience free from discrimination, unwarranted racism, colorism, and subpar Latin food, I strongly recommend going to Los Reyes instead. We have consistently found their staff to be respectful and kind, and their food is significantly more flavorful and enjoyable.
The waiter was good, food was good, however when I asked the 2 ladies(workers) who were sitting next to the bar for a cup, she slammed her pen down as if I had asked for something out of the ordinary, my waiter was busy, neither tried to accommodate, just acted like they didn’t speak English, had to wait until my waiter was free. I told them I was going to do a review and they were speechless. My waiter apologized for their behavior. Needless to say I won’t be spending my $$ here again. Customer service is everything, and with today’s economy they should be happy to accommodate people who patronize their business.
The staff were so sweet and courteous of us. We loved the food. The steak was super tender! We will be coming back.
Nice staff, good food
We tried this place. The food was ok but I thought it was pricey. Servicewas excellent .
Couldn’t say one good thing about the experience. :(
I love this place. We go at least once a month and the service and food are always great!
Never been to a mexican resturaunt that did sushi and habachi. Just happened to see this place looking for somewhere to eat. Figured what can go wrong eating my 2 favorite dishes. Fajitas and sushi, yum. Very interesting concept. Wish we had these back home. Check them out if you are in the area. Food and sushi were good and reasonably priced

I really enjoyed going to eat here. I don't go anymore due to they have items on their menu that they don't have. When you try to complain, they don't understand because they don't speak English. I won't be back. I will find somewhere that speaks English and they have all items on their menu that's available.
So I planned a last minute birthday dinner for my husband. I stopped by Monday and asked if they could seat about 30 people and they happily said yes! (We had more than that show up and they accommodate us! My mother n law and sister in law got there before us to decorate and the restaurant had all tables moved to seat us all together and already had chips and salsa on the tables! Everything was amazing!!!
My husband thought we were just meeting his parents for dinner. So they were sitting up front waiting for us to arrive and the restaurant played along too asking us how many and taking us to the table! My husband had no idea! He couldn’t see anyone! Everyone was seated behind the wall in the front entrance!
Everyone who was working was absolutely amazing! Smiling and kind!! They did a great job taking orders, getting food out to us very quickly and taking care of everything we needed! Even putting our desserts in the fridge for us to lighting the candles singing happy birthday and even signing his number 40!
It was just an amazing experience! I highly recommend them! Thank y’all for being awesome ❤️
Wasn't impressed with either the sushi or Mexican food. After living in Texas nothing can compare to Mexican food anywhere else.
The sushi wasn't horrible but the squid salad was bland.
Wasn't very busy and at times it took awhile to get service and food brought out.
Food was good waiters are super nice and good place to eat
Great food and love their 2 for 1 specials, big boy sushi roll excellent, hibachi plates excellent!!
