We grabbed a quick lunch at the Depot Cafe after a night’s stay at the Goat Pen Hostel. The service at the Depot Cafe is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The cafe food was priced perfectly for its quality and portion. We sadly missed the breakfast menu (we arrived 5 minutes to 11am), so we will have to venture back. They have a selection of housemade desserts, so we purchased a coconut cake to go. The restaurant was very clean, with ample seating both indoor and out. Optional is drive through for ordering and there is plenty of parking in the back and side of the property.

Picked this obviously locals favorite as are most locally owned and operated business. Met for a first date who is from middle Tennessee. Food was unbelievable. Best Western omelette I’ve had. Staff and owners were so welcoming. Definitely will meet here again with her!

My family and I absolutely loved Depot Cafe! Everything we ordered tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The meat omelet was hearty and delicious, the pancakes were fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the biscuits and gravy were some of the best we’ve had. You can tell they put care into every dish. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!
