Service was outstanding - Hannah was an amazing and attentive server. But…the food fell short. A BBQ place needs to nail pulled pork at a minimum to be viable. The flavor just wasn’t there - no smoke, very bland. First time in a long time I lost interest in my food and stopped eating midway. Also there were hard pieces throughout, which didn’t help. The unsweet tea also had an off flavor that didn’t sit well. Lots of promise here with cool vibe and live music and great service.

Up In Smoke is reliably consistent. Food is very good. I love their burgers and loaded baked potato. Service can be slow as they are short-staffed, as are most restaurants these days.

This is the kind of place most folks drive past. Don’t do it. Bbq is fabulous. I don’t even know if their sauce is good because I didn’t even try it. Burger is hand made which is always nice. Our waitress was quick and very helpful. We pass through the area kind of often and this will be a regular stop.

6/30/2023 Sadly we're a lil bothered. Today's visit wasn't the norm. There were what seemed an insane amount of to go orders today - we sat and sat waiting on the server. My husband is diabetic and everytime we pop in service is super quick. Not today - so the added wait time really affected him terribly. *PLEASE* consider addressing your in house customers first.Can I just say OMGOSH yummy!!! Beats the chain bbq places by LOTS!!! The pork was so so so good it didn't need the BBQ sauce! But the sauce was so good I couldn't resist combining them. FYI they sell the sauce ☺️ Tried the Ranch fries and LOVED them! Great sweet tea. They also had some incredible sounding desserts however the meal portion was very filling so hopefully next time we'll have dessert.Other reviews have mentioned the brisket being amazing, that'll be my next choice!Thank you Up in Smoke for a yummy dinner - looking forward to coming back ?

Pulled pork was dry BUT the greens saved the meal. Sauces did add a good flavor. Waitress was polite and friendly made us feel welcomed and at home.
Great pulled pork sandwiches.we usually get Mac&cheese,coleslaw,baked beans with ours.Cant wait to try the brisket!

The pork and brisket both were amazingly tender and delicious but oh that sauce! Just a touch if sweetness. It didn’t cover up the meat but enhanced it. We bought a pint to take with us! Service was great!

My family and I came through on a Sunday while on vacation and though the wait time was around 30 minutes with a packed dining room I cannot stress enough how much the food is worth the wait. On recommendation I tried the Cowboy burger and my family had Catfish, the roadhouse burger and a smash burger. The cowboy was one of THE best if not THE best burger I’ve ever had. Every component of the burger had a unique twist, the onion straws are to die for and the brisket adds a lovely smokiness to the burger. The rest of the family absolutely loved their food as well. If we ever find ourselves in the middle Tennessee area again we know exactly where we will be stopping!
