I really wanted this place to work out b/c I was so glad to see a boba place in Monterey. The first time I went I was shocked at how expensive a boba tea was but I was willing to look past that. Then I went again yesterday and ordered a large which was $10. After paying the girl that worked there told me they were out of large lids so she was going to have to put my tea in a small cup but she assured me that I would get the right amount of tea. I wasn't sure how she was going to achieve that. Well, she gave me hardly any tapioca balls which were wildly undercooked. They were hard as a rock and there were only a few. There was also no ice. That is how she made a large fit into a small cup. So I had lukewarm milk tea with hard tapioca balls.

I forgot to take a photo before I downed this delicious drink! I got my old standby, milk tea with tapioca pearls. The flavor is incredible and sweet Cadence even humored me by adding a little water so it’s less sweet. (my preference) i’m so thrilled to have Boba tea in Monterey that I want to give this five stars but to be honest, the tapioca pearls were quite gummy, & I could barely get them with the straw. Also, at almost 7 dollars the drink is definitely overpriced. I will definitely be back and bring my kids!

Great little side gig for landers home store. The staff of the tea place is great. The drinks are very unique. Very good for the Monterey area.

It's OK. It's a smoothie base, which isn't my preferred way of having boba drinks. The tea has a good flavor, but the boba is really bland. Would be better if they soaked them in brown sugar syrup. Nice chewy texture, though!
