The Country Porch is a charming spot with a scenic view, offering a variety of baked goods, jams, and gifts. The burger with chips and a drink is tasty and reasonably priced. The gift shop has a tremendous selection of quality items, including high-quality clocks, windchimes, temple bells, and handmade brooms.
Visitors can enjoy the amazing large cinnamon rolls for $2.50, with a choice of brown icing (caramel?) or "normal" white icing, both fantastic. The lemon bars and turnovers with white cream inside are also popular baked goods. The homemade fried pies have an amazingly light crust, which is a highlight for many. The deli in the back offers made-to-order burgers and cold cut sandwiches, including a delicious roast beef "specialty" sandwich.
