Pretty nice place to visit. The scenery was beautiful. Store has nice selections of baked good, jams, jellies & gifts and home decor. When ordering food, the process is a bit confusing. We had the burger, with chips and a 20oz drink on the side. Very tasy and reasonable priced!

Really good items like the fried pies, fresh milk and eggs as well as the bread and butter. Went there twice and employees were friendly. Went on Friday night for weekend groceries that we didn't bring along. Bought two frozen, pizzas along with the other mentioned items. Pizzas were awful from being freezer burnt. Worst I've ever had and I'm 55 years old so that's saying something. Second visit was on Saturday and the place was packed with no places left to park. I just wanted a little lighter fluid for our grill. Wait was extensive because there was only one register open and the line ran around the corner. The good service on Friday and the excellent products we bought for the weekend besides that AWFUL freezer burnt pizza made the overall grade a good visit.

Our favorite place to visit on Saturday mornings. Out of town family and friends always request a return trip to the Country Porch at Muddy Pond. We love the breakfast sandwiches, donuts, lunch, shopping, friendly staff, cleanliness, playground, outdoor eating pavilion, and beautiful drive all the way there.

We ordered specialty sandwiches and they were ready within a few minutes and were delicious! We also purchased sour dough breads that are so good! The store has a great selection of herbs, spices, and other baking needs, and too many other things to mention. Well worth the drive from Monterey.

I try to make my way up to TN a couple of times a year, but whether I go up in winter, summer, springtime, or fall, there is but one constant, and that's having lunch out at the Muddy Pond Country Porch... The ambiance is world class, and it doesn't matter if you're inside the kitschy gift shop, or enjoying the beautiful scenery outdoors in the clean mountain air, there's always something to look at. You can shop for pretty much anything your heart desires, from wind chimes to candy, spices to coffee to the mug you'll drink it out of, jams and jellies to welcome mats. They literally have everything. And such good food, everything made to order, with the friendliest, happiest customer service ever.
