I stopped for lunch at the Green Tomato Grill in Mooresburg, TN today, 10.17.25. I chose to pay with my Visa card and found a $3.00 fee added to my lunch tab of $10.99 before tax. I asked my server about the charge and after offering no explanation, I approached the cashier and asked for the owner/manager. He failed to identify himself and said that a $3.00 charge on any credit/debit card purchases was restaurant policy, though in my case the the amount resulted in a 27% upcharge on my bill. I told him I had not been advised of the charge prior to my card being run and there was no line item on the charge receipt indicating the nature of the overcharge. I request redress from the establishment and a return on my overpayment. I have filed a complaint with the BBB (of which you are not a member) and I will be filing a consumer complaint with the Tennessee Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.

My family ate here. Food was moderate, covered in grease, and overall underwhelming. The owner took it upon herself to yell at my partner while holding our daughter (who didn’t do anything wrong) over a messed up booth that was already taped together. If a business is blatantly failing it is not good practice to treat a large party with such disrespect. After this experience none of us will ever eat here again and will avidly tell others about this experience.

Had the green tomato BLT. It was to die for. Also the cheesecake slice is enormous and also great. I really like this place.
