This place has the best brisket and ribs anywhere around here and I live in Manchester so it’s a little drive to get here but it’s worth it and you can’t beat the prices . Call ahead for takeout and you’ll be glad you did or eat in like my wife and I did.
I found Praters on the way through town one day. That is the best pit stop I have ever made. The food was fantastic, and I promised myself I would come back soon to have a sit-down meal. Well, again, I was not disappointed. I ordered something I was sure they didn't have. To my surprise, they did. Again, there were not any disappointed reactions. If you're looking for some good southern BBQ, this is the place for you. Their chicken is phenomenal, never dry, always juicy. The BBQ sandwich is to die for, I love it and the choice between regular or hot BBQ sauce. If you sit down to eat, the atmosphere is very welcoming.
