Came for a birthday picnic and while the weather was hot and a storm was coming in- it was worth the visit! They were able to accommodate a group of 12 with tables and umbrellas. It was a beautiful set up and the food…. Was FANTASTIC. Do not skip out on the tomato pie. Everything is made fresh and they even added a homemade birthday cake. Our hosts were delightful. There’s some bugs that fly around- but to be expected in that farm setting and they have burning candles to help keep them away from the table. Thanks for having us, it was a great birthday!

Great wine and super nice people. If you have time book a picnic the food is amazing! The tomato pie is literally one of the greatest things I’ve ever ate!

I love the Blackberry Muscadine wine! It's a must when we visit TN and my husband has purchased and had it shipped to MI in between visits.

My friends and I drove over an hour to this winery and it was closed. The website said they were open 11-6 on Saturday’s . We checked all social media accounts associated with this winery and nothing mentioned them being closed. If you drive out there there isn’t any service which we didn’t mind until we were trying to find something else to do and couldn’t get anything pulled up. We thought maybe the business would have available wifi but it required a password so we were stuck just driving in a direction until we got service. Just frustrating that with today’s technology they couldn’t post they would be closed.

I loved the experience of dinner in a vineyard, went last year with my sisters, it was a better experience! This time with my husband The food was good, tasting room dumpy and unorganized, but gene very nice, we felt they weren't ready for our visit, he didn't even know we were there for dinner, no one was there yet we called on a radio to have him come to tasting room, and it was just that a small foyer really .in front, he never did a tour , for me I didn't care about that but my my husband had never, been there the bugs were there was so many bugs we couldn't open our mouths they were everywhere so she brought the food down and didn't have a lighter to light the only candle on the table no other bug things that was surrounding the tent we were under had no lamp oil in them there was nothing in anythingere the first tasting was a bottle of wine that lost its fizz and he said that I don't know how old it was when we were under the tent in the field it started it started to rain, that helped a bit with the bugs, all in all I think the place could be way better but I think they are way to overwhelmed, she now fulltime teacher and him also has another job, the wine was good, food was good nothing special, atmosphere was ok if not so many bugs it would of been better, she also had to go up get a lighter for candle, then go back up get wine glasses fo they weren't wine glasses she brought and weren't to clean hope this place makes it could be a great place if they fix up tasting room and possibly get a screened in gazebo for when the bugs are to crazy also better organizing as well and me being a former chef of 38 yrs I expected a bit more especially the dessert honestly was disappointed, the cake tasted okay the frosting was gritty, no garnish like red raspberries, dollup cream, two pieces cake on a heart plate squished on top of each other, , it looked like a pile of cake, ?oh well.

Absolutely a must do when visiting Tennessee! Laura and her husband were so nice and knowledgeable. The picnic date was a definite highlight to our trip. We were served PLENTY of food and were able to sit out by the Vineyard, which was such a nice touch!Groupon says they have a deal for this place but they have chosen not to take down the deal, despite the owners consistently asking them to take it down. Please support this local business by just going to them directly ?? You won't regret it!

My wife and I just celebrated our 14th anniversary at Goodwater Vineyards. Completely secluded, private, catered meal for two experience. Meal was perfect and fresh, wine was delicious. You definitely want to have this experience checked off if you visit or live in eastern Tennessee.

We always enjoy our tastings both in Gatlinburg and on the vineyard property. Gene,Laura, uncle Steve and the entire crew always offer the best experience. We enjoy taking bottles and enjoy at home and sharing as a gift with family and friends.
