Tennessee Jack's on the Hwy

My husband and I have been here about 4 times in past 9 years. Food is great but they cut back on choices on menu and prices are outrages now plus every time the service has been bad. I have never waited so long for service at a restaurant. They do get busy but tonight they weren’t. You should always at least get asked what you want to drink within a couple minutes. Waitress walked towards our table looked at us and walked away. We gave this place many chances but to drive out there isn’t worth it. The part on review where it says, “No wait” was to be seated.

First off the portions for the cost are embarrassing. $8 for fried mushrooms but all you get is 10-12 small ones. Why are these specific mushrooms even fried because they're so small?! Ordered boneless wings. 17 bucks for 15 tiny, tiny pieces. Literally, they were the size of grapes. Imagine paying $17 for 15 grapes. Dumb. Then the kicker is when it came to the check. This place is one of those that charge extra if you are paying with a card. People, this is the year 2025, not 1985. Many people pay with card. I understand businesses are charged from the card companies to accept their cards but build that fee into your cost of goods. Its maddening to see that. In conclusion, don't waste your time if you're hungry because you'll leave disappointed and overcharged.
****note, I write this about 24 hrs after the experience. I'm not exaggerating in the moment for dramatic purposes.

We were passing through town and decided to stop in based on reviews. I had catfish with mac and cheese. My husband had the Ribeye, and our daughter had 2 filets with mac and cheese and a shrimp skewer. All three of us agreed it was delicious. If we are ever that way again, we will make sure we stop in again. So good!

Found this amazing place on Google. Oh my gosh, the food is so delicious. I was with three co-workers. Two of us got wings, one got the Ribeye, and the other got the hamburger steak. None of us were disappointed!!! I highly recommend this hidden jewel.

This place is consistently good. I got a to go order and it was perfect. I think they have the best steak locally. No issues with my order. Their staff is always very nice.

Tennessee Jacks in Mosheim serves great American-fare food. Their servers are friendly and fast, and there's enough variety on the menu that everyone can find something delicious to satisfy them. Excellent appetizers, ample portions, and above all, TASTY. We bring all of our family from out of state to Tennessee Jacks and they all rave about it! Keep up the excellent work!

I just happened upon this place on a trip to Yoder's. The food and atmosphere were fabulous. There was great service and comparable prices.

Kaylnn one of the owners so she says was so rude I have always loved the food from here until today!!!! Told me don't come back when they messed up my food and I said I won't she said good. Apparently she has no clue with her 20 yr old self how to do anything. If I could give it minus zero I would. Oh and btw did this in front of other customers and staff VERY PROFESSIONAL!! Oh and just as I thought her parents own it. So myself and all my employees will never be coming again, and we will no longer have our meetings there. Good Job!!!

Absolutely awesome food! Great portions for your money. Deserts are always outstanding. Love the theme..
