My little family and I stopped into this gem of a restaurant on our way home from Dale Hollow lake. The food, coffee, and atmosphere were top notch! Our son enjoyed the chalk table, and the small toy corner! Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!

Food this good is harder to find than Bigfoot. The only thing better than the atmosphere were the people—super friendly! The food was real food... No pre-frozen, microwaved, or off-the-Tyson-truck stuff. Just unique food that you can tell someone put their time into, making sure it tasted top tier. I am very, very picky about my eggs over easy, and these guys nailed it. The chicken and waffles were probably the best I've had... and that's saying a lot. I almost had to physically fight my wife to get a bite of the blueberry muffin. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the food. We were hungry, so it didn't last long enough for the camera to come out. But I am a sticker junkie, so I did snag some rad stickers.

I visited Cryptid Cafe on a road trip across the country, I saw the sign and simply had to stop. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious. I ordered a sandwich and the chef came to me and said they had bacon, but not quite enough- and offered me a partial refund. Incredibly kind, accommodating staff with a fun theme- I am so glad I got to stop at this wonderful place!

It's a cozy cafe with delicious menu items, vegan options, and a fun cryptic theme! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and really accommodating to our food preferences ☺️ They also offer free wifi and if you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the dragon's breath BLT with an option to add Carolina reaper seasoning!! ?
