This little spot is wonderful, the pork belly melts in your mouth. I got the ribeye with the house chimichuri sauce so buttery and amazing.Give them a try you won’t regret it

I’m torn on how to rate this place. I made reservations online and a question asks, “Are you celebrating any special occasion?” Yes, we went for anniversary. Oddly, it was not recognized by staff. So why ask? Anyway, food was fine and atmosphere is fine. Just seems it’s very over priced. Seems they need to either step up the place to justify the food prices “$39 for a 14oz ribeye” that is not even prime grade. Tasted good but huge tendon through it. Or they need to drop the prices to reflect the atmosphere. Won’t return but I can see it a nice place to just have a few drinks

The food was fantastic! Unfortunately our order was lost, so the food took much longer than expected. The staff went above and beyond to make it right. We will be back.

My fiance and I were looking for a place to have our wedding rehearsal dinner. We went to Barrel House to try their food and ambiance to see if it was a good choice. First, the restaurant wants 3,000 dollars to rent out the back room. That's a lot of money, which after looking at the food I could get past because we had nearly 40 people coming. My group of 4 arrived and were sat, our server was very nice, and got our drinks. They were out of several soft drinks including Coke and Pepsi; the alcoholic drinks were good. We then ordered our food, this took a long time to get out to us. I ordered the Steak Frites and my fiance ordered a chicken and pasta dish. Both meats were over cooked, my fiancees dish was very one dimensional, and my steak was well done when I ordered medium rare. We could look past all that until I asked our server if Danny, the GM, was there because him and I had spoken on the phone about renting the backroom. Danny was at the bar when our server went to grab him. Instead of Danny coming over to say hello and show me around some, he gives our server his business card stating, "he doesn't have the details for me," and proceeds to keep laughing and talking to other patrons at the bar. So basically, he couldn't be bothered to speak to someone who is looking to spend several thousands of dollars for a very special night, the night before our wedding. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Laid back classic dining with good service. They don't rush you to turn over the table.

Deviled eggs tasted like straight mustard, margarita pizza tasted like chemicals, and the burger buns were soaked with grease. Had high hopes but won't be going back. The owner has another restaurant that is fantastic but you can tell he isn't present at this location.

The Bang Bang shrimp tacos were delicious and not too spicy hot. Served on a full size corn tortilla. The ingredients tasted fresh.

The food has remained consistent, but the service is very lacking. Waitress forgot the drink order twice, then gave horrid sweet tea when ordered unsweet. Each time we had to track her down and she was standing in a nook around the corner on her phone, which was definitely more important. We got up and walked out. Not sure how long it took to notice that we had.

Sunday brunch- Denver skillets- old potatoes, rubbery eggs. Chicken wrap- overloaded with guacamole. Fries no flavor. Hummus was great. Waitress was nice.

First time since it was Catch 22 on Saturday night at around 6:30 PM. Very busy with a 25 minute wait but managed to score a seat at the bar, which was also low key and very crowded. Bartender was doing her best for the amount of people at the bar dining or waiting for their table. We saw other menu items such as flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, etc. and they looked like standard fare so we ordered two of their more expensive a la carte entrées: the double pork chop-cooked medium-with roasted peach compote and ribeye-medium rare-with stuffed mushroom. We were warned the pork chop would take 40 minutes and acquiesced since we figured this would be a true food rubric. I didn't time it, but food arrived in a fairly reasonable amount of time and maybe it should've taken a little bit longer because the pork chop was still very pink in the middle (for pork); we ordered medium because we don't want overly dry pork but still don't feel that it should be so pink. My husband ate the bone-in segment since it was the only portion of the chop that was actually cooked and it was delicious. The roasted peach compote offered with the plate was absent and when we requested it, our server went to get it but apparently they were all out of it. A $28 a la carte entree should, at the very least, be accompanied by its condiment. Decided to just box it up and give it a proper sear once we got home. Onto the ribeye; it was a thin cut and end piece was very rare. However, the center was medium rare as ordered and very flavorful. It came with a stuffed mushroom and what it lacked in presentation made up for in flavor. I was surprised at the spice level it had and although I didn't mind it, I felt there should've been a little more warning for patrons that aren't used spicy foods. At closeout, we ordered the peanut butter pie to go and when we tried it later at home, found the texture and presentation good but the actual flavor didn't really meet expectations. There was sweetness to it, but no actual peanut butter flavor. Our overall opinion is that this place serves standard food with good service. It's a great local bar/restaurant which we fully support but maybe just order a sandwich next time. Maybe they need a few Mexicans in the kitchen...food is always better!

Great dinner with friends. We went on their 1 year anniversary and cocktails were 1/2 off! So we had some - all were super tasty and unique (in a good way).Food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Only complaint was that it took a bit long to get our food and it wasn't served at the same time - which bugs me.It's a great choice in an area that doesn't have a lot of great choices.
