Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant - Mount Juliet

Came here on Cinco de Mayo. It was packed, in a good way! The staff definitely prepared well since the service was still pretty quick. I really enjoyed my fajita quesadilla. I was not as impressed by the frozen house margarita as it seemed kinda fake and weirdly colored; however, I am not that disappointed since it was a good deal. I tried a sip of my friend's house margarita on the rocks and it was much better!

This place wasn't the best nor worst Mexican restaurant I've been to. Our waiter wasn't very friendly or attentive. The food was just ok. My daughter didn't get the guacamole that was supposed to come with her burrito and my chimichanga was soggy. My husband's portion was small and my youngest ordered a burrito that wasn't wrapped and fell apart when she tried to eat it. The atmosphere was lacking as well. I probably won't ever return here.

Great Mexican style food. The shredded chicken quesadillas are hard to beat. The parking lot is rough and in need of resurfacing.

We decided to try Cinco de Mayo Mexican restaurant because it is close to our house and we pass it daily we always see lots of customers cars outside so we figured although the image is poor the building looks run down and has a poor image overall we were surprised pleasantly surprised that is the food was delicious or server was friendly outgoing attentive we were in and out in 20 minutes the prices are very competitive to other Mexican restaurants around Nashville The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five it's because of the exterior in the parking lot both are not very inviting but if you look past that and go inside you will be pleasantly surprised as we were not very inviting but if you look past that and go inside you will be pleasantly surprised as we were

Long wait for food after ordering - 1 hour. My husband ordered carnitas which were fabulous. My chicken was inedible. Fajitas were good. Chips were stale.

Placed my order and after 1hr wait was told it was going to be a little longer so decided it time to go home. Second time in a row this has happened. Will not be returning to this establishment.
