Normally I would give this place in general all 5 stars, but this one in Mt Juliet was under construction and I was hungry but not to bad, just wanted a little something to get by, I ordered a loaded baked potato and was looking forward to eating it, when it came out the potato wasn't even hot, it was cold like it had been cooked hours before, the butter wouldn't even melt. I tried to eat it cause I don't like to cause trouble, but I only got a piece of the way through it and I had to stop, just couldn't eat anymore.

Order took as we were 1st in line. Drinks delivered. Others receiving orders 1st. We both had eggs over easy, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and fried apples. Everything was lukewarm. Bacon not a straight piece in the bunch. Had to ask for hubbies apples. I did not finish as lukewarm is not appetizing. After we were finished eating and ready to go, then the server asked if we wanted more drinks. We declined. Tip I left, I thought was too much (15%). I only left that as servers are not paid enough per hour. If our meal had been hot, she would have received 20.00 in cash (to claim as much or little as she wanted) and not the 15% I put on the credit card when I scanned the link on the bill that she had to claim. Is there a reason as to the lukewarm warm food? Will not go back to this Cracker Barrel again. Might try another sometime ?.

This store is being rennovated and am excited to say that as I did not enjoy going in there and eating under dirty and dusty relics hanging from the ceiling. Love the new look. Our grilled chicken tenders and trout were absolutely amazing! Each were prepared excellently and well seasoned and a lot for the money. Good Job Cracker Barrel!

When is Cracker Barrel going to get its AIR CONDITIONING REPAIRED?? It’s been well over a month, perhaps longer. I just ate here and it is miserable. There are fans all over the gift shop for the employees. The servers are miserable. Cracker Barrel, you need to get your operations together!

Waited 40 minutes for my to go order, I couldn't even tell what the pinto beans were because they were matched up so much, and the food was cold. I've been going there since I was a kid and every year the food and the service just continues to get worse.
