My family wanted a buffet and we chose this restaurant...it's nothing to rave about, it's was just okay...the price you pay for the quality of food you get isn't worth it... Personally I think their dinner buffet should be more like $9.99 for adults and nothing more...

Great food, great price, solid family dinner spot
Had dinner at Far East Buffet in Mt. Juliet with my mom and nephew, and we all left full and happy. The hibachi was especially good, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can tell the chef takes pride in it.
The buffet selection is legit. Tons of options, from classic Chinese dishes to sushi, seafood, and American sides, and everything I tried tasted great. It’s one of those places where you can go back for seconds (or thirds) and still find something new to try.
Even better, the lunch hour pricing makes it a solid value. Not too expensive, but you still get a quality meal with plenty of variety. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the vibe was relaxed, perfect for a casual meal with family.
I’ll definitely be back next time I’m craving some hibachi and buffet comfort food.

This is a pretty hood place for the cheap price of the buffet. Most of the items on the buffet were decently made. There were a few things that weren't bad but just a little off. Like the General tsos and chicken and broccoli. But all in all it was a fair meal at a fair price.

How has this place not been shut down?
I took my two kids here. Hand on the Bible, there was a cockroach on the floor and another on the wall next to our table. Continuously some of of the lowest health scores in Wilson County. Absolutely disgusting.

Too many chicken entrees, but not enough seafood. Only whitefish was available on the buffet, not salmon. Cut up fruit included canned pineapple instead of fresh. For dessert, the chocolate cake was extremely dry. Also, there should have been a sign at every buffet table, on both ends, in large text, not just one, to dole out portions to young children. I saw one child put his entire arm down into an ice cream container to scoop out what he wanted. The staff hadn't monitored the situation, either. This is a health hazard. A few of the food trays were not replenished quickly enough when they got low. Finally, the owner gave me a 10% discount after I voiced these concerns to her. Don't bribe a food critic so that I might give your restaurant a better review!

Food was good, plenty of options for the buffet. However it was weirdly cold and humid inside and I realized halfway into our time here that I, my plate, and around me on the table was being dripped on by condensate from the air vent above.
Disgusting.
