Something happened to this place, not sure why or what exactly but it has gone down hill quite a bit.The first time I went there the food was good the menu had quite a bit, the entertainment and service was decent. This last time was horrible. The menu has changed quite a bit and barely has anything on it. The pizza is hunt brothers pizza, the same you get at a gas station. The shrimp cocktail we ordered was still frozen when it hit our table. The service wasn't good. I believe they've had alot of turnover and have new people working and not enough of them.We got excited the first time we went and was very disappointed the second time. We won't be going back anytime soon.
Our second trip under new management. Today we waited for 45 minutes and never were waited on. Very limited menu. This was our favorite lake restaurant last year. Very sad.
Get fans for errors next to parking lot.My children and my brother^s children wereCooking 95f to 100f under that metal roof.I asked for fan but host said sorry ?Come on man ! 5. Kids 4 adults . Lot of money spent
Tried going here twice now. Was told they are only serving pizza. Why have a menu and call yourself fishtales grill and only being serving pizza. Over crowded over priced pizza place.
$15 on a chicken sandwich that looks like it came from the nearest 7/11. Bun is burnt and everything. For $15 I expect the chicken to be killed infront of me and cooked before my eyes. And they have some trash pizza that I could also go get a gas station.
Fish was great! Had the cheese curds appetizer, it was great also!Great livemusic with a local band!
Would not expect the cheese curds to be extremely spicy. Should be noted on the menu.
I've given this place five different tries because we live nearby and dining options on the lake are limited. Here is the net result of two the visits, which highlights the overall experience. JUNE 2020 Got seated and received waters. Placed order for drinks and food, neither of which ever came after 45 mins. Went to bar and ordered two drinks and paid for them. We asked others for service and finally found the waitress after another 25 mins who said that she "had no idea" that our food had not arrived (although it is her job to ensure this as the server). We left without any food at all. MAY 2021 Decided to give them another chance and went there with my wife. Hoping for better service, we went on a Thursday at 5 so it would not be as busy. End result was that my wife and were both served raw meat. Mine was undercooked tacos, and hers was undercooked shrimp that were still frozen in the middle. When we asked the waitress about it, her comment was that this "happens all the time" unfortunately, and it has even happened to her! "I don't know what on earth is going on back there", she said. This place gets customers because of waterfront location (although you are really staring at gas pumps and boat slips instead of the lake), Bud Light and bands that play 90s rock in the summer. That's all fine and good, but I don't advise eating here.
The atmosphere was great but the food was absolutely putrid. If I had of been drunk it would have been ok, but I selected this place because I wanted to drive out of the city (Nashville) and have some seafood. This is not a restaurant it is a bar. My grilled shrimp was horrible, I mean horrible. The waiter was probably overloaded but I allow for that. It is inexcusable for a server to not come to your table within 10 minutes of your food being delivered to your table and that is exactly what happened. My food is there in front of me and I have no silverware or anything else I need. Will definitely not be going back here. Also the live entertainment really sucked for Nashville. Either be a bar or a restaurant, you obviously can't do both. Good day sir.
Staff is awesome food was great. Loved the seating options and selection. The but is amazing.

Our server was attentive and very nice, and the outdoor space variety is good. Crazy expensive prices though. $16 for 10 wings? The photos of menus that were on Google before our visit were clearly several price hikes ago. Soggy broccoli. Average burger (also $16). And they were sold out of the first three beers we asked for. Disappointing, but l appreciate the lakeside location. Guess that's why they can charge the prices. Not planning on going back.
Well aside from being out of chips... and out of fish...Lol what food they did have was pretty good and the service was great. The environment was great as well.
Had experience much like has already been stated by others. Boat sinking and tried to blame us for damages. We had only traveled a mile or so max before calling to be towed in. Lost all our money. Unbelievable!
Beautiful evening outdoors on the water. 4 of us split appetizers and 2 buckets of low country boil. Delicious. Had some drinks and enjoyed the live music. Service was excellent (Thank You Sarah) Fun crowd. Will be back!!
I came here on a boating trip with some friends. The food was pretty good. The fried pickles were great!! Definitely enjoyed this spot. We will be back.
