Houston's is hands down the best butcher shop in the area. The quality and quantity of their meat and produce beats every grocery store like Walmart, Aldi, ect... by a long shot. The staff are kind and helpful, their prices are extremely affordable, the store is very clean, not to mention the premade meals are phenomenal. I now only shop at chain grocery stores for household items I cannot find at Houston's, other than that I get all my meat, veggies, and cheese here. 5 stars!

7/28/23 Had to come back and try more. As always the staff was helpful and polite. We tried the grilled chicken club and that is easily the best I have ever had. Their items are of such high quality and perfectly flavored ingredients.7/13/23 THE FRESHEST TASTIEST “BEST” BURGER I’VE EVER HAD. An absolute gem of a find and to experience. A butcher shop and so much more. Expansive menu with all fresh ingredients. The meat is fresh on site so the burgers are incredible. They have specials everyday. we also ordered a phenomenal club sandwich and the special of the the day “Taco salad” which was a stand out.Old review: I needed a specific cut of meat and decided I had to finally drive over and check Houston out. Before I even looked for what I needed I was wowed by the fact they have a restaurant setting/menu and daily specials so we ordered lunch and it was outstanding. Great sandwiches and comfort food at great prices. When I did look for what I wanted it wasn’t readily on the shelf (5lb chuck roast) but they pulled a huge piece of meat and cut it fresh in front of me. It was also much cheaper than Kroger’s price. It is so nice to finally find a great butcher... it’s fantastic to find a butcher that also serves a fresh lunch! The people working there were all friendly and helpful.

I had a party catered for 40 people and the food was delivered on time, hot and fresh by a friendly and courteous gentleman who went above and beyond to help make sure our food was top quality when I needed to serve my guests. Every dish was delicious and something I was proud to serve.I will definitely use Houston's again for my catered events. I highly recommend!

We had a catering order delivered on a Sunday. I’m very impressed with Ms Cathy and Mr Chris! Both so great to work with as I kept calling and changing my order. Delivery was on time. Did not expect them to offer to leave the warmer and cold storage bins, that was so cool for Me. Chris to offer them! Food and hospitality were excellent. Thanks to all who took part of it. I would reorder for future events from Houston’s.
They really came through for me on a last minute catering order - the trifecta. It was perfect. Everyone loved the food and the portions were generous. If you're looking for comfort food at it's finest and you're not afraid of carbs get the hashbrown casserole!

I attempted to eat lunch and buy some meat for dinner, but I was not treated in a friendly manner. I was in an isle looking at potatoes when a rude employee came up and demanded that I move out of the isle instead of choosing another isle to go through. She didn’t apologize at all. I’m sure she wasn’t aware that I’m a handicapped individual, but even able bodied people deserve to be talked to in a neutral or positive manner. How dare I attempt to shop at a store that sells things. I’ll be taking my money to a place that wants my business. The rude lady also blocked the sidewalk to my car and refused to move when I said “excuse me”. The shop also felt dirty, but I spent less than a minute inside due to the rude behavior. Please keep that rude lady in the back away from paying customers. I am typing this review as I sit in the parking lot if you need a time stamp. I will not be back.

So disappointed in rheir service! My husband went by there at 5:40 pm this evening. He asked for 2 rib plates and the young boy at the counter told him he had ribs but that he had already put up the sides. Never mind that the sides were sitting on the table and they are open until 6 pm. Terrible customer service. We ended up going somewhere else. On top of all this my husband is a Veteran and it's Veterans day.

Houston's is the best! Our go to for fresh meats & a fabulous hamburger!!! I'd like to give them 2 stars so people won't try them out but I can't bring myself to lie...the butchers are 100% the best! Yes, we go once a week. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to pick up some of their sandwich spreads also
