Riverfront Tavern Mt Juliet

First time trying the restaurant. I was underwhelmed to say the least. Let's talk appetizers. The Dragon Bites were really good. Can't go wrong with smoked sausage and maple bacon. The garlic parmesan wings were meh. Didn't get a lot of the garlic flavor and the parmesan looked like it was sprinkled out of a can on top. Also the wings were soggy and not crispy. The sandwiches were ok. I got their smash burger just a double cheeseburger with caramelized onions. Onions got lost as I didn't taste them at all. Wife got the grilled cheese with bacon. Again it was ok and grilled well. There are just so many more choices than American cheese. The sides were not good at all. I got the loaded potato salad. I'm expecting a little cheese some green onion and generous amounts of bacon. I got what could only be described as boiled potato chunks in sour cream. Not a lot of flavor at all. My wife's loaded potato soup tasted very similar to potato salad. Either that was by design (more sour cream) or it was spoiled. One bite she was done. She switched it for the chili and it was SLIGHTLY better, as it tasted like it came out of a can.The plusses: the bar had a good vibe and the servers were top notch. If you want to go for drinks and appetizers you will enjoy yourself. The restaurant aspect leaves much to be desired. Being situated in the middle of Providence there's a lot of potential customers. If they put more focus on the food, they would no doubt get more traffic. Probably will not be back. Sorry guys.

Good food and staff very accommodating. Enjoyed a nice lunch of tavern food on the outside patio, in the shade. Prices reasonable.

Waitresses and food always great. Music too loud for early evening getting dinner, not there could not hear people we were sitting with!!

Our Harley Owners Group had dinner here the other night and had a great experience. Service was great and the food was great...

I'm a little sad to leave this review because I didn't actually get to eat here. The aesthetic is cute, and it's close to our house. The staff I've interacted with have been friendly.But unfortunately there is absolutely zero access to any allergen information whatsoever. There is nothing online, and no one on staff knew anything about where to find access to the ingredients in their food.Sadly, those of us with any significant food allergies will have to entirely skip out on this location unless something on their access to allergen information changes.

Customer service is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Food is not the best especially for the price. Definitely wasn’t satisfied with the food. Wings seemed under cooked.

Affordable drinks and good bar food. They even had a solid healthy option with the smoked trout caeser salad. Nice place to have some drinks and watch a game.

Super slow service. I should have read the reviews before we came here. Food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t that great. Fries were cold and the burger was kind of burnt. Literally been waiting for the waitress to bring the check for 15 minutes now as I’m writing this.

Food and drinks are amazing! The new sweet potato fries are a must have!

HORRIBLE place. Worst in Mount Juliet. Waitresses will put your tab with other tables and expect you to know how to split it. Will then ask you to pay for items that are not even yours. Will then cuss you out and tell you to leave. Comical at this point... called the "'manager's" wife to voice my concerns and she hung up on me and said the waitress was "doing her job" and "they were slammed" lol. Aren't we all? Shows even more about the company! Just spend your money elsewhere.

Good fun place. Went late one night and the kitchen was closed unfortunately but kinda expected at 10pm

Great people! Friendly staff and fun atmosphere all the time. Wanna make new friends and get to know new people? This is the place where you can do that and have conversation without having to scream to be heard!

I've only been here for trivia nights so this may not be accurate for all times. Each time we had very slow service. Didn't see the server for long periods of time and my order didn't come out until my friends were finished with theirs. I had fish and chips. It was pretty good.

This was our first time coming here. Our bartender Danie was great!! Prime rib sandwich was so good. Best potato soup!Thanks for a great first visit. We will definitely be back.Pat & KimFrom Hermitage.
