Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill

Food is pretty good. It's consistent in quality. Service is usually pretty good but the whole restaurant always feels like it has a layer of film over it from odd cleaning that wasn't too thorough.

Worst food ever. Everything has been sitting there for a while all dried out. The rice is dried, hard and chewy like eating sand. Its not even 3.00 PM and if their ingredients are not fresh, I suspect they are from previous day.

Disappointed Experience
Visited Salsarita’s today and was really let down. The food looked like it had been sitting out for way too long — not fresh at all. The steak was extremely dry and tough to chew, like it had been cooked hours earlier and left under a heat lamp. Definitely not the quality I expected after paying $30. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Over cooked food, out of everything for dinner and it wasn’t even 6:30pm. 2 females that weren’t employees were hanging out behind the counter not wearing uniforms and hanging out with the employees. BOTH the bathrooms had sticky notes saying out of order on the door. Staff were actively closing down the restaurant in front of us at 6:30 while we were eating our crunchy rice and over cooked steak. Soda machines were noticeably unkept and had no carbonation in the beverages.

First off, they ran out of lids for the drinks. The food wasn’t edible at all. The rice was so incredibly hard to even try to chew. One friend was able to get that nasty food down better than my other friend and I, and he’s the one sick today with food poisoning. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! What a waste of money!

Sauce did not taste fresh, the manager said it wasn’t expired and would not replace taco. I don’t care, expired or not, the sauce is open to all customers and anyone can do anything to it.
One bite out of taco.
She was rude and not friendly.
First time we have visited this location in a few years, quality, cleanliness and customer service is definitely not a priority here

The store was very dirty. Food quality was cold, old, and burnt. We normally love salsarita’s but will not come back to this location. The worker was very unhelpful and emotionless. I asked for fajita veggies and her response was “we don’t have any they are only made to order” but even tho I was requesting them didn’t offer to make any. The pulled pork was completely burnt and not edible. The Queso was so thick and cold. I spent $20 took one bite and discarded the rest. The only edible item was chips. I was charged $4.50 for chips only for my bowl. Mind you I visited at 6pm on a Thursday- you would expect better quality during a dinner time frame. Management should definitely address this restaurant.

Love this place. Best burrito in the Nashville area—puts other burrito joints to shame. Their ingredients are always fresh and at temp. Service is always friendly! Atmosphere is nice. Restaurant is always clean and tidy. Awesome selection of self serve hot sauces. Love their ground beef. Queso is always fresh, chips are seasoned VERY well. I’ve been in for dine-in and takeout, the burrito always holds up for takeout. Never regretted the choice to eat here!!!

I ordered shrimp tacos i thought they would be pretty good. I had to wait 10mins for them to be prepared they ended up being bland and watery with no flavor. I ordered rice as well it was hard and old. Best thing was the nachos lol

I'm not one to normally leave negative reviews, but this place is disgusting. All of the tables were sticky and seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, floors were sticky and there were food scraps & stuff everywhere, bathroom was gross and the door wouldn't lock. The grills and food prep area looked to be in pretty poor condition as well. Food was mediocre at best and that is being generous. The owners of this franchise should seriously take a look at their operations and try to be better.
