2nd time eating here on our 2nd visit to the State Park. Both times were fantastic. Greeted as soon as you enter, waitress is asking what you what to drink as soon as you sit down.. Drinks on table before you can blink an eye. All the food comes out hot and fresh. This time I got the patty melt and onion rings, both were fantastic, and did I say hot? I also got a side of baked beans, those were amazing, never had baked beans like that before. Not sure what they put in them, but...

Love this charming diner! From their simple and down-home atmosphere to their delicious and plentiful dishes this diner is comforting on all levels!

Their Patty Melt, “The Bernie” is the best I’ve had in TN, so that’s what keeps me going back. The tots are super crispy and the coleslaw is to die for. I’m not a big fan of catfish, but my friend swears it’s top notch, and she loves the hush puppies as well.

This diner is precious! My toddler ate most of the cheese curds. We had the salmon patties and Philly cheese steak. Everything was delicious!! Such a cute little hidden gem. You also get 10% off at scoops & sweets next door with your receipt. We will definitely be back.
