I've been living in Mt. Juliet for 8 years and came the Papermill for the first time today. I've been missing out! Brunch was amazing and you can tell pretty much everything is homemade. The Pepper Syrup was my favorite find but adding Andoullie to an omelet is something I wouldn't have thought of at home! Prices were extremely reasonable and I paid less than other places around MJ.

Long wait time. Overwhelmed wait staff leading to inattentiveness that couldn’t be avoided. Food was okay. Pancakes undercooked and tasted like it was cooked in the meat drippings. Yuck.

We had an excellent visit this morning! Service was phenomenal and the food was really, REALLY good! Beautiful Biscuits & Jam Board to start, then the Hot Piggy Benedict which was everything you could want from a hearty breakfast. We had loaded hash and the Tex Mex Omelet as well.....everyone left happy! My first time with some out-of-town friends...this will be one of my go-to's when people visit!!

Found this on maps. It was delicious.

I was so excited to try this place today and was prepared for a long wait and brought plenty of patience. We waited a full hour for our table, as excepted, no problem but the wait was even LONGER at the table! Server rarely came to check on us, long wait times for refills and sat with empty cups most of the time. It took over an hour for our food to be brought to the table, my steak was horrible but again, the Server didn't seem to want to check on us for whatever reason. We were there from 11:15-1:45pm. Never once did we get an apology, a discount or even offered a dessert for the wait like the other Server was offering her tables. Put a bad taste in my mouth and even though my steak was left with 1 bite taken out she didn't even care to ask if it was ok. No flavor , chewy and honestly gross. $120 for 4 small meals and some hard biscuits? Nah. I'm good.

If I could give 10 stars I would! From the time miss Brittany greeted us at the door with our warm welcome we felt right at home! Josie delivered our awesome biscuit and jam board and gave us a run down on the delicious house made jams Yummy 😋! Monica our server HANDS DOWN THE BEST. Answered all our questions as this was our first time of many more to come! This place is a gem We will definitely be back!

This place gets very busy. The food quality is excellent. It is a little pricey, and the food options are 'fancy'. This is excellent food, but it isn't your homely meat and three.

It was okay but the place seemed severely understaffed

I got lucky and got there as they opened, but they were super courteous and the food was great! Their breakfast is on point!

Very cute and cozy place however we got there at 11:45Am And they told us it was an hour wait, which we did not mind. We expected that cause it was Mother’s Day. We got called at 12:50 that our table was ready. We sat down. We got our drinks by 110. We ordered the kids food. The waitress came back, gave us some more water. She did not ask if we needed more drinks. It was around 215 when our food came out and it was super cold. Like it was sitting out for quite some time, but nobody paying mine to pick it up and bring it to us plates were not put together with any kind of love or kindness. Kids food came out with our food chicken tenders very well done almost burned fries super cold hamburger super cold cheese not melted. Waffle and chicken it only had one chicken tender for the chicken and it was $21 super expensive Overall, we were done by 2:30 or 2:40pm got out of there. It was the most unpleasant experience I had in a restaurant ever. I will not recommend this place and I will never go back to it. The manager did not prepare for the occasion, which was Mother’s Day. He should’ve had more personnel in the kitchen.

If I could get a negative star I would. We walked in and were told it would be a 15 minute wait. 40 minutes later we finally get sat at a dirty table covered in crumbs. Wait another 10 minutes for our serve to greet us who shows up and is drunk or something. We immediately give our order and wait another 40 minutes before asking for an update on our food. 10 more minutes pass and the waitress comes back and says “yeah, it’s not looking good for your food.” So we got up and walked out. Worst experience I’ve EVER had at a restaurant. 2 hours and we didn’t even get to eat. Way to ruin our Mother’s Day on our trip.

You may want to call ahead. We tried to go here but they locked the doors an hour (or more?) before the 2:00 pm closing time.

Everything Was Absolutely Amazing!

Sadly a poor experience here. Host sat us down and explained who’d be taking care of us. Waited close to 20 minutes after being seated just for water and drink order. Servers were directly in front of us huddling at what looked like a cleaning station just talking, which we didn’t interrupt because we thought the conversation was more pressing than just general chit chat. Turned out we were wrong! Laughter, chuckling, hands over mouths, eye contact in our direction. Very strange. Not sure what prompted it but not willing to go back.
Can’t say anything wrong about their food. Very well cooked and presented. Credit to that individual or group of.
Get serious about providing excellent customer service every time or find yourself rubbing the wrong person the wrong way and finding crummy reviews on what seems to be a fairly popular establishment.

Brunch Goldmine…

Cozy vibes, dim lighting, and top-notch service…this spot nails it.

The omelettes are fluffy and packed with flavor. Options: Waffles, French toast and more…makes you wish it was always brunch time.

Try the banana bread…it’s awesome.
