La Familia Mexican Restaurant and Store

Absolutely loved it here! On vacation & one of my first stops was the store! Got stuff for tacos and homemade green salsa was SO good.
Ate there a couple times as well and definitely will again before we leave. BEST RICE EVER
Homemade just about everything & you can tell.
Horchata is hard to beat.
Steak and pastor was so good.
There’s a salsa bar.
What’re you waiting for! You gotta try it!

Fantastic food at a great price. You have to want to get there, as it looks like an ordinary house, but it is so worth it. Highly recommended the fresh 3 meat fajitas. Coke served in icy mugs. Tasty salsa bar too. We’ll be back.

Best Mexican food in Tennessee. 10 Stars. There are good Mexican food restaurants, but eating here is like eating at my aunt's house. I was there on business. Our hotel was an hour away. After discovering this place, I tried to make it back as often as I could for the month we were in TN. Brought the entire group of about 25 people, and all loved everything about this place.
Excellent food and service. Sandi, Lily and all the staff are friendly and courteous. 💖

This place, with it's checkered tablecloths and homey atmosphere is cosy and a must try place. The service was prompt and friendly. The food is fantastic! Definitely get the guacamole - it's made fresh. Prices are reasonable too!

I have got to eat here one time and it was great.The second time I went for breakfast.It was about 9:30a.m and they acted like it was crazy to have breakfast at that hour.Guess they didn't start breakfast until lunch.The third time was a few minutes ago and I was going to meet up with someone there and have dinner.The restaurant sign was turned on and said open.Sign said they closed at 8:30 but the door was locked and people inside but they wouldn't come to the door.Went to the door of the store and same thing.Looked right at us but wouldn't come to the door.That was piss poor.This is still America.It made for a very disappointing experience.It was rude and I would like a explanation.I have never been done like that and would hate to think that I would cause someone to feel like that.

We had a party of ten. Everyone’s food was freshly made, authentic and delicious. There was no long wait and excellent, friendly service. We are here for the moonshiners fly in. Wish we would have found them sooner.
