I have got to eat here one time and it was great.The second time I went for breakfast.It was about 9:30a.m and they acted like it was crazy to have breakfast at that hour.Guess they didn't start breakfast until lunch.The third time was a few minutes ago and I was going to meet up with someone there and have dinner.The restaurant sign was turned on and said open.Sign said they closed at 8:30 but the door was locked and people inside but they wouldn't come to the door.Went to the door of the store and same thing.Looked right at us but wouldn't come to the door.That was piss poor.This is still America.It made for a very disappointing experience.It was rude and I would like a explanation.I have never been done like that and would hate to think that I would cause someone to feel like that.

We had a party of ten. Everyone’s food was freshly made, authentic and delicious. There was no long wait and excellent, friendly service. We are here for the moonshiners fly in. Wish we would have found them sooner.

We waited for someone to come take our order for about 15 mins no one ever came. That's not a way to run a business!

A little gem in an unexpected place. I'm from SoCal. This is real traditional Mexican food. Classically good. Simple. Nice people. Reasonable price.

Excellent food and friendly service. Order up by the register first before you sit and pay afterward. There are no signs telling you this. I asked other patrons. The building needs to be eradicated for mold which is a HUGE problem for me and anyone that has been exposed to it.. just an fyi..I recommend the food to go.

I've eaten Mexican food in 6 different states and this was the best I've ever had, it was even a hit with the kids. Everything was so flavorful and the meat tender and delicious. Definitely gonna have to stop by again when passing through!

You want some good authentic mexican food? Then get it here! They make such good foods that you may just explode from the tasty flavours. (Sorry I spell flavours like that because I play Neopets) Give them a good try for real though!!

If you have ever traveled to Mexico, then you are fully aware that most Mexican restaurants in America cater to Americans. La familia was truly authentic Mexican food. Not a huge chain, it's located in a small, obscure building just down the road from food Lion. Wonderful people there, and really good food. We came right at closing and I asked them if I should get it to go, yet they insisted I sit down and enjoy my meal. I'm so glad we chose this over pablanos, which until now, was my favorite. (Sorry pablanos, now you're my second favorite??)
